They're a little far flung, and nothing much in the downtown area, but here are my favorites:

Easy Street Records - West Seattle (nice selection, breakfast and lunch served daily!)
Silver Platters - SoDo (South of Downtown, big selection, a bit cold)
Sonic Boom Records - Ballard (smallish, but impressive collection)
Bop Street Records - Ballard (big selection, a bit picked-over)
Light in the Attic Records - Ballard/Fremont aka Frelard (just a few shelves in an entryway adjacent to their warehouse, only open Fridays/Saturdays, don't miss it)
Jive Time Records - Fremont (fantastic collection, all used)

If you're at the Pike Place Market downtown, you should check out Holy Cow Records. I've not been, but have heard good things.

Have fun in Jet City!!

Abe covered a lot of the good'ns, Bansel, but don't miss Wall of Sound. Rare and out of print are their meat and potatoes. They aren't a great spot for bargain hunting, but the prices are fair and I have found some great experimental/jazz/noise/ambient/etc albums there over the years. Small spot, but worth a visit. Enjoy.

If you are on the north side and got some time, there is a record shop at 2501 Broadway, Everett, WA 98201. They are not as frequented as much and you can get some serious gems there sometimes cheap!

Easy Street is my favorite place, because if you're there early, you can have breakfast, then drink a latte and dig for stuff. Or, y'know, a Rainier ...

One more I was thinking about today:

Georgetown Records - south Seattle, funky industrial neighborhood w/ a few cool bars/restaurants and this excellent record store full of esoteric vinyl. priced on the high side, but real gems to be found!
