Has anyone else seen Nightcrawler yet?

Just got done with watching & I absolutely loved it, remarkably dark and compelling.
Plus Gyllenhaall gives the performance of his career IMO.

Soundtrack by James Newton Howard is superb but sadly not available on vinyl, I grabbed it digitally and give it a thumbs up.

Haven't had a chance to see it yet, but I've been looking forward to its release for months now. Looks great.

We had the LA prem of this at Beyond Fest.
It has the feel of a late 70's movie (you know the golden age) it dark, funny and ambiguous. LA looks incredible too . Easily in my top ten movies of the year.

@deathwaltz - Agreed on all counts.

It gave me a very 'Polanski' feeling which is no bad thing.

If there's no awards for Gyllenhall/Russo or the director I'll be very surprised.

LOVED it. I feel like it's the "Network" of the 21st Century. Terrific comment on the state of local television news (in the US, at least). Terrific writing, characters and performances from Rene Russo & Jake Gyllenhaal.

The music didn't strike me at first, though. Time for a re-viewing!

The music is average .
I can't even remember it although it does suit the film (it does it's job perfectly well)

I thought there were some really good cues in it, some not so good but did go with the overall feel.

I must admit i watched this not knowing anything about the story or the genre and was quite surprised by it.

Yep, Great movie watched it over Christmas! Another I've heard that's quite good staring Jake Gyllenhall is Enemy, but haven't seen it yet.
Best horror I've seen in a while is 'As above,So below' I'd definitely recommend this one.
Oh and Predestination starring Ethan Hawke - A very clever movie and one to mess with your head!

Ha, yeah you're not kidding!! although I'd say it thinks its clever than what it is and ends up exposing lots of plot holes, but id say its a good movie.

In true STBC fashion of going wildly off topic, I'd say the equaliser is one of the best films of last year as well!
