Shipped! Anyone knows if this mailer uses quality shipping methods? Or should I get ready for the TronLegacy 8 pieces special edition?

I recieved a 10" from MyPlayDirect earlier this year, and it was packaged really well, likely the best I've had a record sent in. Hopefully they use a similar type of box for their 12" records.

The bubble wrap is very thick & being larger than the record, the edges get wedged under the cardboard buffer to prevent movement.

I just received an email from MyPlayDirect saying that my order is fine and will be shipped soon. I guess they are sending these out in batches.

Just out of curiosity how come so many of you slept on this first time around? Most of you are well on the ball when it comes to soundtracks. I watched the film and was so dazzled by the soundtrack I grabbed it off Amazon immediately (not trying to be smug).
Is it because Tron is a bit of a marmite kind of film and you gave it a miss?

I wasn't collecting vinyl when it initially came out but I did buy the CD immediately because I was so impressed with the soundtrack. Now warner needs to find a box of Inception somewhere :D

Yeah.......I slept. What can I say.

But frankly - I've only been hitting the OST side of my vinyl habit quite so hard since this damn board came along - it was so much easier to live in ignorance without it!! ;)

My excuse: I've never seen the movie...only became familiar with the soundtrack in the past year or so. Also, I wasn't collecting soundtrack records at the time.

I started to late with this ridiculous obsession :)
But yeah.. Let's hope there's a box full of Inception, Dark Knight and Social Network left somewhere..

I thought the film was decent (minus the Jeff Bridges CGI), but I loved the soundtrack. I felt that Daft Punk brought their craft to a whole new level, and it is some of their best work. I was really broke at the time of the vinyl release, and I couldn't afford to pick it up. I foolishly assumed it would be a massive vinyl pressing that would see continuous represses and be readily available for years... and here we are three years later and my lowly digital files have bit burn.

@simonsj, thanks for that link, I emailed MyPlay direct and heard back from them today. They apologized for the inconvenience and said they would would request a private link so I could re-order my item again. Was told it would be a couple of day before I got it. A small ray of light but I'm not holding my breath, time will tell.
