I am an operations manager in my current position, and just moved to Florida from Austin. How frustrating! I could have stayed there, and probably got on very well at Mondo to help change things there for the better. I am sure that would be an exciting position...especially for someone like me that thoroughly enjoys project management!

My favorite part is that they are looking for an Unpaid Intern...with 3 years experience...I am also looking for a lawyer with 3 years experience to work for free at my office....what a joke. Oh, I am sure there are applicants applying for that intern job. Even if they are being used and abused. I'm sure free posters and LP's will be provided, as well as an in to the record world. Three years experience to have that opportunity is a bit much though... just like many forensic science internships want PhD's. Uhm, excuse me!?! What person with a PhD wants an unpaid internship? Hell, I have a masters and I didn't want an unpaid one.

In typical Mondo bullshit fashion, I tried to buy the Tom Whalen poster for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles today for my 5 year old for his upcoming bday, and as I'm checking out...the stupid check out locks up on me, I lose it and they begin flipping.

If anyone has an extra they could part with without flipping...I would love to get it, as he had his heart set on it after seeing it on my phone. Thanks!

I always wonder who buys all these Mondo posters. they are quite expensive and generally all sell out in minutes. I do have one, a really freakin' cool Wizard of Oz poster, but so many of them are strange or gory, and I can't help but wonder who buys and what they do with them all. 24x36 in a frame is pretty big too, you'd need a lot of wall space to hang more than a couple of them.
