All witchboard 7"s on OWS are SOLD OUT. Got a couple of copies of The Raid2 and Evil Dead left + the very last copies of Surf Nazis Must Die.

Busy month(s) coming up at OWS : we'll be having The Boogeyman, Concorde Affaire expanded DLP, Class Of Nukem High, Street Trash,...
+ two (maybe three) new OWS releases launching. Preparing for MondoCon & Cassette Store Day, getting some OWS shirts printed,...

Goodbye sleep ;-)

I must have this, at the very least for that Tony Darrow track. "I'll eat your fuckin' eyeballs like grapes..." :D Genius.

Surprisingly, what little I listened to Boogey Man, I wasn't that enthused. Better for my credit card; it needs a break.

Yeah I was a bit let down as well. So much praise for it and I just thought it was ok. The guys that are paying $1000-5000 for northern soul 45s are the most surprising. I listen to them and while they are good they are not omg blow my mind gotta drop a house payment on a record good. I think a good chuck collect them just to collect rare high dollar stuff.

@ows - Do I need Boogey Man? I'm not that familiar with the film & don't remember the score at all.

@Tony, I'd say you should listen to sound clips. I love synth and I didn't care for it. To each their own though. ::shrugs:: That's why there's enough music to go around.

And not to be heretical, but the CD version of the soundtrack was re-released recently, and it can be purchased for $18. This could be a better choice if you kind of like the sound clips but not enough to spend between $40 and $50 for the vinyl.

Sound clips available at http://www.howlinwolfrecords.com/storetheboogeyman.html

I have an original boogeyman soundtrack, but I want to buy this too.

It is one of my top 10 fav. soundtracks, the synths are so eerie and super catchy.

I have the original and bought the recent cd because I wanted to hear the new arrangements that were bonuses (they turned out to be utterly pointless but that's besides the point).

They couldn't find the masters so had to master from the original vinyl and are claiming it sounds better which I find a little odd. The cd sounds ok but I won't be ditching my orginal lp any time soon. This new artwork is also crappy compared to the original in my less than humble opinion.

Also, as monsterworship notes, this is a full blown classic of the horror synth genre and anyone who thinks otherwise should go back to listening to overblown crap like Jurassic Park heh heh.
