The recent “L’uccello dalle piume di cristallo” is the result of my collaboration with AMS.
This time I provided the liner notes (in Italian and in English), posters and lobby cards from around the world and I even done an optimisation of the sound files. I’m not responsible of the transfer to vinyl but I really hope that this LP will sound great (I haven’t listen to it yet, I’m still waiting for my copy!). And for the very first time the tracks are in stereo. The original Cinevox LP from 1971 was mono and the Capitol LP from 1970 was stereo but the US label used a different recording session.
The red vinyl (heavier than the original one) is housed in a new gatefold sleeve with a 33cmX33cn insert.

66 € !! It's the multicolor blood vinyl numbered...they put the price so high !! Why ? Because : "very last copies" ? ;) Completely crazy ! It's a wonderful collector's world ;)

I'm very disappointed, my copy of "Il gatto a nove code" is warped, i've sent a video of the vinyl, but no answer from btf.it :( If someone from AMS read this...

Hi there everyone! My first post on this very interesting website.I am a Goblin music fan and live near Rome. It's a breath of fresh air for me to read all of those passionate posts about my favourite group.I collected their records seriously from the second half of the nineties.I thought there would be no more room for this beloved genre in a world thinking too much about hip-hop music, and that there would be no more new releases nor reunions of the original line up.A couple of years ago instead, i was in Nettuno (Rome seaside) to listen live to the "New Goblin" line up and had the Simonetti's playlist signed from all members, plus a couple of photos and the video taken from a friend that was with me that summer night.
Another friend of mine that is new in this "world of goblins" talked to me about recent years AMS reprints.I just bought Buio Omega as i had only the 7" on red vinyl from 1999 german laserdisc release. Not interested in other reprints having the first printings, because of the many defects that my friend found out listening to roller ams release as in contamination and others. One day i brought to him my whole vinyl cinevox collection to confront some tracks on the same record player and the differences are evident. An expert told me that the pressing machine used by AMS has got some problems because of course it is an old one and has a defect inside the pressing plate.I have no evidences more than some opinions but you know how it is difficult nowadays to get an original master tape of the first studio recordings. Those reprints are important to put new attention on our beloved Goblin music, but they are printed in a world very far from the one that had vinyl as THE music support. And that's it.
Talking about a side project from 1976, my last prey is "Gamma" soundtrack LP a couple of days ago.Is good to jump on the horse again to find out one of the very few records still missing in my almost complete collection.Hope to hear from you some other reviews and anticipations and hope the voices about a brand new LP with new unreleased tracks are true and maybe before the end of the year we will hear some new Goblin music. At last after 13 years from Non ho sonno...
Happy collecting to all of you and think about picking up some first printings among new releases. They are not so much expensive compared to their sound quality.

These AMS releases have been amazing. I love all the different poster and previous release images that are included. I have bought about 10 of these now and highly recomend them. Bird with the Crystal Plumage has been spinning a bunch for me lately.
I just my shipping notice for Il gatto a nove code this morning.

I've been reading and this is the only place I found some info about the problem with Zombi in A1. Does anybody know if this is in the whole print? I was thinking on getting this, Dagored one or the original Cinevox

The whole print of Zombi (AMS reissue) have the cut intro... The Dagored it's a very good option! ;)
