I just ordered my Goblin ticket for Chicago, pretty excited. If anyone uses etix and they ask for a password (since these don't officially go up until 12CST) it's DEEPRED. I think it should work for a few different dates/shows. I know it's the code for GA and for Chicago.

I'm too impatient to wait 3 more hours, glad Google helped me with the password for the preorder option.

There was also a VIP choice (not available yet) that was $75 and you got to go backstage, meet the band and get a poster. I passed on it, but it's a cool option I guess.

I'm a go for the chicago show....it's going to be epic -- too bad I am also running the chicago marathon that morning. I am going to be looking like this at the show:

Let's hope people who have already all versions of the soundtrack won't jump on the occasion to complete their incredible collection.
"I didn't have this color !"

(it would be nice to have one this time)
Thanks a lot for the new pressing anyway !

@deathwaltz - I have to agree, stunning soundtrack with hints of tangerine dream, carpenter, moroder et al. Been listening to my torrent version since I won a copy of the dvd on Mr Trunk's OST show with a bad pun and patiently waiting for Schmidt to release it on wax. Maybe you could make him an offer?

That seriously was marked "SOLD OUT" the second I added it to my cart. Damn it.

On the subject of represses being the same except for various details, I love the way that Jon Brooks' Shapwick denotes its repress - the back cover of each pressing (2 on vinyl so far, the current one's about to sell out) has a different owl printed on it. A cute detail, and one that really fits in with the record as a whole.

I'm hoping to grab tix to the Goblin Chicago show. But, it falls at a tough time between 2 kids birthdays and a few weeks after a trip to Boston. If anybody going for sure could vinyl buddy on the EP, I would greatly appreciate it.

Jeff I think it's still available. Perhaps try again as it says it is available. Maybe there was a big rush from the forum or something... DW fans break the internet once again! : p

I will grab a few copies at the Chicago show and then reach out after. I can't imagine it costing too much, so I will grab as many as I can.

Spencer is looking into getting some Goblin for us EU peeps, but if it doesn't happen I'd gladly take one of your hands. Would love these revamped classics on vinyl!

Yeah I checked again and there it was. Strange, the first time I hit "add to cart" is said sold out. I dunno. Whatever, got it, thanks for the mention.

Also, yes, it's my They Live tattoo. I'll throw a pic up later.

at one point Seven Notes in Black was one of the titles that showed up on a list of pending releases... is that one still being planned?

As much as i like say the Omen , I don't really have much interest in releasing it, it's a score you see in evey used bin and for cheap too. Shining of course classic.
Our next four releases are a mix of things that have either never been released or were private press and brand new contemporary soundtracks. I am really proud to be issuing these as I really feel no one else would go for them and they deserve to be out there as they are classics.
I guess it's about following your own path and hoping people trust you enough to come along for the ride. Trust me the next batch will look awesome and sound even better.

@deathwaltz: fair enough! either way, this is all so exciting to me. even soundtracks to movies i haven't seen are exciting because of the reimagined artwork and presentation, and the reminder that i need to watch these movies. and i, for one, trust the judgement of all of you guys at these labels. i haven't been disappointed yet. just received Twins of Evil and House By The Cemetery and they look and sound amazing.

@waxwork: re-animator and Day Of The Dead... simply can't wait til these arrive on my doorstep.
