Shocking, but not the hugest surprise really. I’ll be bailing on Tulsa King now though, which I was kinda enjoying in a basic trashy way

Watched the first season but dumped paramount not long after. he needs to call it quits with the face injections and whatever else work he's doing.

I watched Deadpool & Wolverine this weekend, while I enjoyed those two actors playing off of each other the overbearing story was absolute rubbish. All these time line multi verse stuff is so bad, I don't know why they keep going with it. Some cool action scenes, lots of good humor and some cool cameos & references. Seeing Snipes as Blade again was fucking cool imo. I don't recommend the film itself unless you enjoy Deadpool's humor & gory action, it's not a good movie but a mildly entertaining one

Watched Wong Kar Wai's As Tears Go By. Still my least favorite of his good stuff but there's plenty to enjoy here. Some how my version had fucked up subs, it was taken from the Criterion blu but who ever provided the subs did not use the Criterion ones. This weekend we will be watching Days of Being Wild, I tracked down the previous HK bluray, the regrade on Criterion is way too much so I'll be skipping most of their transfers. Surprisingly they didn't really mess with As Tears Go By

Continuing my run through Wong Kar Wai films we watched Days of Being Wild and Chungking Express over the weekend. Both still hold up incredibly well. Days of Being Wild in particular actually ended up being better than my last viewing. Going to watch the original cut of Ashes of Time next, I've only ever seen Redux and it's my least favorite WKW film.

I watched the original cut of Ashes of Time this weekend and that is easily the superior cut of the film. The main reason for me is the score, it's so much better in this than in redux. I even went and watched a few key scenes in the redux version to confirm this. Highly recommend that version if any one is going to watch that film, still one of the weakest from his 90's output but well worth watching too

VS wil also still release a standard version. And imprint probably a very expensive ltd version plus a standard version.
I will get the digital version ;-)

Yeah I saw VS put up more copies of the standard edition today (or yesterday?) and I also saw the Imprint announcement as well. I couldn't order it this weekend anyways, extra money has been tight in these parts so I'll have to wait a bit to pick it up. Excited to see how the transfer looks
