Nothing quite like cracking open a sealed 42 year old record and taking it for it's first spin. I apparently don't read item descriptions some times, I had no idea it was a sealed copy

Both of your recent arrivals are in the ‘way better score than film’ catagory :)
Yeah I kind of enjoy Final Exam as a basic slasher but the score really is leaps and bounds better than the film itself.

Bad Dreams is an Elm Street knockoff right? At least that's what I always assumed lol

I only saw this movie for the first time some months ago... Crazy giallo! But what else would you expect from Ruggero Deodato.
Still need this score though!

Did they quit?
No but they haven't released a record in over a year and only released two records last year. They had a huge boxset planned for Death Note, showed the pallet with all the boxes on it almost 18 months ago and since then another label has released all the music on vinyl that was supposed to be in that release. They do have one release coming called Death Parade which they posted a pic of the test press a month or two ago so they are still doing stuff but at a reduced rate. So I expect 2023 to be a single record release if Death Parade manages to get pressed before year end. Add to that I'm more of a fan of the 80's & 90's anime scores and they have found more popularity through the 00's anime releases so that seems to be a shift in focus. Understandable as they sell way better and they need to make money so I can't fault them for it.

I've never seen the movie but the score is very good. I don't give it enough love. :)

That is a shame to hear. That Death Note box set must have costs them an arm and a leg if they got that far but couldn't release it in the end...

I assume they'll still release it at some point but it really sucks for them they were beat to market by another label. That label is EU based, my guess is TLV has US rights. But it takes a chunk out of their sales for sure.

Final fight, side A arcade version side B is the SNES. Played this a lot as a kid so the music is giving a good nostalgia hit

Looks like that one came out pretty good. Love the center label they went with. Obi design is pretty weak but outside of that I like the jacket. Don't think I've ever played the arcade version but I bet the score is a bit punchier than the SNES version.

@Bez - nice spins, I am still trying to get info on that Beat edition but was told to wait a bit as they moved offices and the archive is not yet searchable. He said it should be ready to search by September, so I’ll contact again and see if there is info.

This was a fun surprise with good tunes. The club package was quite nice. I enjoyed both the tattoo flash style art sleeve, but especially the inclusion of the signed 8x10 by LQ. Excellent fan service by Terror Vision.

Awesome. I have tickets to see Simonetti and band crank out a live score for Demons here next month.
Of course you do, @deaf. (Statham voice): OF COURSE YOU FACKIN DO.
I'm going to see Simonetti/Goblin and "Demons" tonight. Has anyone been to any of the showings yet?

Hope they tear it up. The tour will be here in three weeks.
