watching 'pit & the pendulum' on blu-ray right now and reminded of the elegance, brilliance, and sheer terror of the score. can DW, OWS, or Waxwork please please please try to get the rights to release this and the scores to the other Vincent Price AIP Poe films. sweet jesus, i'd die. and most if not all of them have never had a proper vinyl release! a crime, i say! a crime!!!

Les Baxter (my favorite composer of all time) is really ahead of his time on the Pit And The Pendulum score. So minimalist and a total trend breaker from the standard big orchestral sounds we were used to in this period.
