I was able to get clint Howard home address years back and I wrote him a Christmas card addressed dear coppersmith...I sure he got a kick out of that.
Haha, amazing. I’m sure the Ice Cream Man has a sweet sense of humour ;-)

Pete I love The Brood. Definitely check it out. I appreciate the movie.much more as an adult. Infact I just watched it recently.

Yeah The Brood definitely hits very differently in my 30's than my early 20's. Such a great film and the practical effects are horrifying.

I think it was Ken Russell who once explained that he had a shorthand system with Reed when they were shooting: for each scene, Russell would just say a number to him from 1 to 10. 1 being ‘Very Calm Ollie’ and 10 being ‘Completely Fucking Mental Ollie’!!

The idea of being on a set with both of them at the same time gives me anxiety.

I just re watched the Richard Lester three musketeers films, which are some of my favorites, but I gotta say Reed is above and away the best part about them, as he usually is.

For those of you that are into 4K UHD releases, Deep Discount is having a Blue Underground sale that also coincides with their Halloween sale. Blue Underground titles are on sale, their 4K stuff is $30-$35, if you buy two and use MUMMY10 code for an additional 10% off. If you buy three use VAMPIRE15 for 15% off the order. Plus it's free shipping on orders over $25.

I'm contemplating Daughters of Darkness, Two Evil Eyes and Zombie

Pirahna Dir by Joe Dante
First time I've sat down and watched this from beginning to end. I've seen it on TV over the years a bunch but never really sat down and watched it completely. It's a fun time.

Aside from the first film how did 2-4 hold up for you? I haven't watched 2 or 3 in over a decade and I only watched 4 when it first released. In my head each film falls off more and more. I don't really remember liking 4 much at all. I should rewatch them all at some point.

I love all of these, almost equally with a slight advantage to 1 and a slight disadvantage to 3, but i'm a huge supporter of this entire franchise

Oh boy, they just announced Pinhead will be played by a transgender woman in the upcoming Hellraiser film. The "get this woke politcal shit" out of my horror crowd is having a fucking fit. I'm really curious how they could have gone their whole life "loving" Hellraiser and Clive Barker with out you know understanding that he's gay and that movie is gay. He's not a very subtle person.

this was not a good movie...
I just couldn't imagine it would be good. I have no idea why they thought making him the "good guy" here after what he did in the last one, it's a baffling decision.

Pretty great film, I felt like Schrader was ‘back’. Making that one film he makes over and over. But in a good way? What did you think B?

I didn't know anything about it beforehand. I had no idea what to expect but I certainly couldn't have imagined this story. I really liked it. Loved the pace. Brought back memories of my own online poker days around 2002-2006 I think. The time that WSOP started to get very popular. But since then I never bothered with poker anymore.
I can imagine this movie can feel different for a US audience than for a EU one. I found it to be a pretty brave piece.

I actually liked this one much more than I expected. Brought back a lot of memories... Discman, Dawson's Creek and Tara Reid...

Haha.
I don’t I have seen Blair Witch 2… and reading up on it now and I see there is also a Blair Witch 3 titled Blair Witch being a sequel to Blair Witch…
I know those are not going to be good. But are they good enough in the sense that a lot of 80s horror is good enough?
