Chris often when I see your icon it reminds me of and interview I had at that effects artist studio when I was young. I believe that is a floating head from big trouble and it was created by an artist named Screaming mad George (Society fame). It was the most manic love/hate interview. As he was looking at my portfolio and turning pages he would point and say "See this...I hate this...don't do things like this. Then "See this...and point at another pic in my book...this is how I want our artists here to sculpt...real like this...but this...get this out of your book. "Don't ever put this in your book again. It was really funny and very memorable.

My copy landed today as well, I can't wait to give it a listen. I need to order the 4K release still as well. I haven't fully watched it since DVD days.

How is this one? I haven't ordered it yet but was very curious.
I liked it a lot. It’s mainly piano-based, but it also has ambient/electronic textures.

Awesome, that's kind of been his style over the last decade so it's what I assumed it would be.

Dead & Buried - Joseph Renzetti
Ship to Shore

What a great release. I was a little worried last night when I dropped the needle on, the lead in grooves and first 5-10 seconds of the first track was very noisy but after that it's dead quiet and sounds fantastic.

ImageTeo Usuelli - Alla ricera del piacere OST (In Pursuit of Pleasure) aka Amuck! [Beat Records Company LPF 089]

It took me way too long to pick up a copy of this one. There was a track from this album with Edda Dell’Orso on the Beat At Cinecittà compilation from the mid-90’s that now haunts my memories so I am very happy to have more from this session. I missed this CD/digital release from Beat back in 2007 and wow, what a miss. There is some vibrato synth/string/vox?! theme throughout that is so good. I could go on about this vintage giallo art design by Beat. Even the labels look vintage:

Nice one! I was in the same boat. Bought it recently and not sure if shipped already.

@Nathan: looking good! Very curious to hear how that set feels and sounds like.

Would have loved this release, but just can't bite the bullet. I saw someone on their Facebook page say theirs arrived with sleeve damage and they won't replace it as it's cosmetic.

I'm still kinda bitter about the Spinniature BS they pulled, so probably not going to order from them unless it's something I NEED.

Laputa: Castle In The Sky - Joe Hisaishi

I finally found a good price on this. It's my favorite Ghibli movie and I'm very happy to finally have the score. It's so good.

New arrivals. I just finished listening to Children of the Corn. I was completely surprised by how good the score was. I am not a fan of the film, when I was 4 years old my aunt (she's 8 years older than me) thought it would be funny to show me Children of the Corn. It scared the fucking shit out of me, I don't even remember how much of it I actually watched. I spent the next 10-12 years of my life being scared of the film and never wanting to watch it again, when I finally did I laughed at how it wasn't scary at all. I've revisited a few times over the years since and it's just never lived up to my lofty 4 year old recollection of it. I had no memory of the score and so it was never on my radar as something I "needed", I didn't even pre-order this, I just found it at my local shop this afternoon. Glad to have it in the collection now, even if the art is so so, I kind of like the cover but the useless gatefold and illustration on the back doesn't do anything for me.

As for The Funhouse, I found a new copy on discogs for retail. Excited to give it a spin after dinner.

Inksb Children of the Corn is a great score. I seem to be listening to it more often as of late. I also tried watching the movie recently but did not finish it. How is that pressing? Funhouse is also really good too ....score and movie.

Scott you gave me the inspirational nudge to make my own sleeve. Done dirty and fast and not the pro level you would or othes would do on here but I am happy

Dead & Buried jacket looks good @Evan

as for the CotC pressing, I thought it sounded pretty great. No noticeable surface noise or major issues, although I was not listening with head phones so my "analysis" ears were not turned on at all.

Delightful stuff Evaroo! Love it, you went full gore with your interpretation too, very cool... very Dobbs ;) That scene is just un-friggin-believable, every time I see it.

Wish I had a large format
printer, I'd never leave the house!
