This is a nice one. Not Tier A Goblin but to me that‘s part of the charm, it‘s rather underplayed, the music has grown on me over the years. Used to own it on CD 15 years ago or so, some years ago there was a reissue for RSD but that one was very noisy. So I caved in and acquired the OG. The title track is a real banger, Bond meets Dawn of the Dead, and the rest flows nicely as an album. It‘s less prog than the earlier Goblin releases, instead it has a cool late night, slightly jazzy feel.

OG envy on this one. I really like this album, was new to my ears until the Noisy RSD Reish.

Nice one @Chris. I have the RSD re-issue and should play it again to remind me how it sounds.

Ive been thirsting hard for this one to land in the UK. Aaron from Ship to Shore let me know it was coming about a year ago, after teasing it on our podcast about, oh 2017? It's crazy how long projects can take to land sometimes.

Great to hear that it's a quality pressing, I do love this score and have always wanted some kind of release, awesome that Renzetti was able to go back to the tapes. I can now park my own version ripped from the 5.1 bluray audio track ;-)

Yes, also eagerly awaiting this one to get to good old Europe. Looking forward to some weekend end of July/early Aug when I can spin the Renzetti score and the new BU 4K disk which I also really want to get hold of. Such an atmospheric film and score.

Scott I have only heard bits and pieces of the score but always wanted it since seeing the film in the eighties. To here the full tracks is a revalation. You won't be disappointed.

I have to confess... Aaron shared the audio a while back, and I couldn't agree more - was so exciting to hear. I happened to be deep into restoring it myself at the time and it was a pleasure to 'down tools' and enjoy the music from source :)

better....if I was going to be unreasonable the only little complaint I have with the new release is I wish they did a little something special for the cover. Maybe either laminate or some type of reflective quality like that blue underground release. But honestly just care that the pressing is very good.
