Ok first things first @Mateo has the Rambo ranking in the right order. First Blood is the best then 4 then the rest. * I haven’t watched 5 yet.

@inks Hot take is right, not sure if you saw my earlier post but if you are planning on rewatching the Rambo movies please consider reading First Blood first

And finally @Bez please finish your list. I love seeing your rankings they’re great because I think my ranking would be totally different so I like seeing someone else’s point of view. Makes me question my list and even though I just watched most of these in the past year or so it makes me want to go back and rewatch.

Also the holes in my action movie game is Chuck Norris. I think I was a little too young for him and never really went down that road. I want to start watching his flicks any recommendations? I was thinking about starting with Firewalker

I am no Norris expert but I'd say start with Lonewolf McQuade, Invasion USA, Delta Force 1 & 2, Firewalker and Missing In Action. I also like The Octagon. I haven't seen most of those in many years but they seem to be the major ones every one enjoys. I was thinking about picking up Lonewolf on blu, this has reignited that thought...

@Bez - You have ranked that duo properly in my estimation. Double Impact is the better JCVD vehicle. Onward.

@Hatter - I heard that phrase myself for the first time this morning when I typed it here. And, in typical fashion, theres a better than 80% chance I would have never thought of it again. So thanks for ensuring that it'll stick. At least for a bit.

@Pete - For Chuck, Start with Good Guys Wear Black and end with The Hitman, skipping nothing in between. If you're still peckish, have Hellbound for dessert. Code Of Silence is his best film and it's not particulary close, but that's not surprising since it's an Andrew Davis Joint. The others, the others are worth your time and in order is the only way to fly. Trust.

I think it was @nathan that recommended this recently. I had never heard of it but when I looked it up, it sounded like an entertaining time. And it was. Low budget frantic Hong Kong zombie comedy. Filmed in what appears to be a "mall"/shopping center. It's has very low budget effects, goofy characters and is shot in typical HK fashion. Definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of HK cinema

It’s uneven and a little abrupt, but overall I really liked it. Some of it It was filmed near where my folks had their cabin and I knew I recognized the diner when I saw it, Catskills has a very specific feel.

This was an excellent JCVD flick. I would place it above Cyborg, however Cyborg is a must see movie and this is not. However a very enjoyable one.

Great to see NTR placing in your top five, @Bez. At least it's him in a 'proper' film, for once, as opposed to all that ridiculous fighty-fighty trash :D)))

In case you didn't clock it, NTR was directed by Robert Harmon, who also gave us The Hitcher. Seems to like his dusty locations.

btw Harmon made a fantastic long short before Hitcher (which got him the job in fact) starring Charles Napier as a psycho cop. Much of it is reminiscent of Hitcher. Well worth watching - unfortunately the only version I can find online has some of the sound removed to avoid copyright issues/YT takedown. Still good though!
