I'm re-watching and I just finished episode 4 of season 2 so I'm going to have to pay attention to episode 6.

I just stumbled onto the Ninja films last year. It’s definitely a series I felt where has it been all my life. It was like finding a puzzle piece to my life I didn’t know was missing. Sho Kosugi is a treasure and I feel like he should be celebrated more.

You're a lucky fellow and I am envious of your fresh eyes on both counts. Sho's Ninja films really are a tremendously good time. And Bas is a good guy with a great sense of humor and was one heck of a fighter in his day. Truly one of the thinkers of the sport.

Honestly this is a movie that I rarely go more than 6-8 months without watching, at the very least once a year for both this and the second one. Most recently was July so I guess I’m due.

If I remember right it was a rainy couch day and my bill was

Watching The Little Things now.

I won't say too much here as I abhor spoilers myself. It was a solid flick that perhaps could have been a bit more impactful in another's hands. Fine performances, lots of fun supporting actors, and steong atmosphere were the high points. Inconsistent pacing and some fuzzy character motivations were the low. There were a few very well done moments in the film. The Thomas Newman score had some sexy cues. And a couple that give off that sparkly wonderment vibe he can do which isn't really my cup of tea in general, but felt especially out of place here. I do have a soft spot for these kinds of thrillers and it was entertaining, warts and all. B-

It's definitely worth a watch and the cast is the most fun part. It's essentially a B movie thriller script dressed up as pseudo-Oscar bait and while that can be tonally jolting at times, it's still fun. I crushed 10 Past Midnight afterwards as part of an impromptu double feature just to bypass any half measures and go full grit.

@Mateo I bought 10 to Midnight last year and loved it. I’m a big slasher movie fan and a bigger Charles Bronson fan ( I even named my dog after him). Just watched it the the one time, I feel it’s due time for a rewatch.

I got to say I just watched the trailer for The Little Things and it sure does fit in as a double feature with 10 to Midnight so who knows. Also Mateo’s take on the movie looks to be pretty accurate based on off the trailer. I’ll probably check it out sometime.

I’m watching The Outsider right now, hasn’t gotten around to it yet, so far so great! Been on a King kick these last months...years....lifetime lol.

Seriously, though, Bronson is the eel's ankle. And, for the record, I just typo'd 10 To Midnight. For now I'll blame it on a youth spent listening to Ice-T records. So follow your heart and watch them together. It's the right thing to do.

And speaking of doing, as we were, I'm off to see what sort of evil men get up to...
