Nothing against Sam Smyth personally but this and the first DW Prince of Darkness art were their worst for sure. And yet many folks seem to like them a lot. So go figure! (I also can't stand any of the stuff by the much-beloved WBYK, so I guess that shows my taste...)

Just rewatched this the other day

As for the art, I don’t mind this or the prince of darkness cover for what they are, but I feel you on WBYK, every now and then I dig what they do but it has to be VERY specific. I appreciate it, but it’s not my style

I have been in this business a long time. Now if I don't want to do a show, it's not because I got stage fright. It's because some creature from beyond doesn't want me to do the show. Now gangway.

If you don't already know this one, very highly recommended - typically bluesy/synth stuff from Isham, similar in parts to Romeo is Bleeding, but on re-listening it also has a bit of a Down Twisted feel in parts. And there are some lovely Marianne songs too.

Just played it on the weekend after I rewatched the Tatort episode for which it was written for. Great stuff.

This is also very nice if you come across it - normally I’m not a 7“ guy but the 2 songs are really solid, also used in a Tatort episode from the early 80ties.
