Haha yeah the jacket for that release is such bullshit. It's a solid pressing though! Sounds nice. The dvd is strange, I was hoping for late 60s/early 70s italy, but it was much more 1940s-1960s 8mm home movie found footage from broader europe.

Yeah, I didn't trust those sleeves so I ended up putting it in a different mylar sleeve.

@havershaw
I gres (this is the reissue) is a must.

There is a cheap reissue of Al Sint. I like the whole record but the og price is really due to one or two tracks on the LP.
Pulse of the city , is a great kpm that can be got for reasonable price.
The other two are great also, Lost Star is a classic!

I'm thinking of placing an order with dustygroove and am up in the air between this one and Brugnolini's Superunderground. Thoughts on which album is better? Worth buying both? lol
Oh my goodness you could not have picked two better records. If I had to choose one I would advise you to pick up Torossi/Brugnolini Musica Per Commenti Sonori as it is perhaps my absolute favorite library lp , but do yourself a favor and pick up both—you won’t be disappointed ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks for the input. There's just so much out that I could spend hundreds on a whim just on reissues but I need keep it in check haha.

Al sint is a great record!! Awesome addition

If you like those Brugnolini I recommend the gazzani music per commenti Sonori with the venn diagram looking cover that sonor released last year. It is really excellent and a best of 2020 for sure.

solid mail day today

I don't have too many og canopo but the handful I've got have normal jackets. This one is a foldover, like it folds in half and isn't glued at the top and bottom edges

Finally was able to make the right deal on these after passing on some overly expensive copies over the years

Zodiac was a big want, I love this jazz record. Every day I am a bigger fan of dino piana, and he is all over this one. Mario Molino guitar, gege Munari drums and umiliani session guys on flute & bass

Plus it has real liner notes with performers all credited! I wish they all did. Can you imagine, we would know so much more about who really played on all these records.

I don't speak italian, but I think it says something about he has original compositions and tasteful arrangements that mix jazz, beat and bossa nova (this is a great description actually). Blah blah the sextet is really the tits on this record, and then maybe some shit about Tommasi having fly style and jazz experience and making film and library music.

Damn @tex those look incredible. I'm unfamiliar with all of them so I'll be adding them to the list of stuff to check out.

I sat down this evening with some headphones and put on Panoramic Feelings. It's my first time I've been able to spin it front to back. There's some incredible stuff on here and the pressing sounds great. I'm very glad I picked a copy of this up.

@Dollarhyde: you have great taste! nice picks! my Lost Star is in a similar condition as yours!

@inksb: that Commenti Sonori is a must!

@Texas: great records. looks like you have grabbed these from misterstereo8. i was interested in one of his sales but it never worked out. the basement flood condition was too heavy for me. he has bought a great collection, mold fungus included :(

Alright guys, you are very persuasive. I actually ordered Commenti Sonori and Superunderground. I dropped the record I was going to originally order and I'll grab that in a week or two.

Ah that's too bad about the mold! Did you ask for pics-- he grades a little sternly. I think the alessandroni were graded G+ and Fair for the jackets. But really not a big deal, a little part of the front of one stuck to the back of the other and definitely not moldy. I was glad I asked him for the pics

@tex, if you don't mind sharing what does Industriale run when the jacket is damaged like that? The only prices on discogs are from sales 2 years ago ranging from $300-$600

Looks like Four Flies is putting a pre-order up for Giuliano Sorgini Africa Obscura Reloved Vol 1 & 2. I have no idea what it is but feel like it belongs here. Any one care to educate me on whether I should drop the pretty penny to order these or not?
