You probably missed my post in the deals thread. It was $10 a few weeks ago on VS website. I just checked, it's back up to full price (which isn't bad, it's only $22)

I could do without the occasional narration (basically introduces each track), but a lot of this is quite good.

(I also wish the percussion sounded less modern, but that’s a pretty nitpicky complaint.)

edit: some of side 4 is wayyyyy too modern for me, haha.

I do think he's a fine composer, and a cool guy from the looks of it, but this holds no appeal to me. Your comments certainly haven't swayed me haha

I’m not gonna lie, I would like this 1000 times more with no narration (a feature that I was unaware it would contain - I guess I thought it was just for the promo, not on the actual record).

Number 25 is floating somewhere in postal heaven. I ordered it in Mondo’s sale but it never got delivered and according tracking it is being send back to Mondo...

2 out of 3 Mondo sale orders missing. And WRWTFWW order also in limbo.

Yep! Might be wrong but feels like this might be slightly getting slept on- though to be fair the sheer amount of library reissues coming out is nuts and you can't get em all. But I highly suggest folks have a preview listen to a few tracks from this. It's seriously good, VERY Sorghini, and incredible that the tapes lay unreleased for so long. How much more unearthed Sorgs can there possibly be??

For some reason I slept on it too - I didn’t order it right away, and I can’t remember why (I don’t think I ordered it til Black Friday).

I'll let Chris speak for himself but I have been very happy with the release. One of my top spins for 2020. I've no idea what an original sounds like but the mastering sounds fine to me. The vinyl is also nice and quite. I'm really quite pleased with the release.

I've had no issues with any of the reissues from WeWantSounds, Kindaichi included. They are nice reproductions packaging wise and they sound great. All of their stuff is officially licensed and I assume they are getting access to the masters direct from Japan.
