Cool never seen that cerberus before! I like the jacket

Giving this some love since four flies did a reissue. It's got a nice variety of italian soundtrack sounds with Nicolai/morricone style experimental stuff, Edda Dell'Orso, Alessandroni on guitar and sitar.

Originally purchased The Beyond Fest Edition but Mondo had already sold out of it at the time I made my order so they offered me this Texas Frightmare drop and I could care less as long as it sounded ok. And this is a really great sounding record. So glad I have this one.

Always killer art by Humphreys for sure. I was on the fence about this release because of some of the negative posts on Discogs about the sound quality but this copy sounds really good.

You should. It is a great compilation. Has a great flow to it.

Now playing this in anticipation of my solo viewing this weekend...

Posting this in the main now playing thread as I really feel everyone should, at least, check it out. Amazing and diverse score, with some serious funky, cosmic and jazzy touches, could see this being at the top of many best of lists this year.

Of course it took me again until the last track/song of side B to remind me this needs to be played at 45 rpm

Was thinking the same. Both the contender and the did this already happen part :-)

Former Japanese rental disc. Vinyl is NM. I am going to try to steam off some stickers. Or maybe not.

Two recent aquisitions.

As mentioned recently - by ScoJo me thinks - this new MOV edition of Dracula looks and sounds splendid.

Bought the Black Friday RSD of Silent Night, Deadly Night as I somehow never got the DW edition. This one is only 1 LP with the songs by Morgan Ames (+ 2 songs not on the DW version). Some nice liner notes by Ames and as a gimmick 2 strips of an original 35mm film, pretty solid all in all. Was more eagerly waiting for Village of the Damned on Black Friday but that really seems to have been pushed for a later release.

@bez, easy mistake on Bone Tomahawk. Been there myself. I need some of this 45 stickers @static(?) has!

Ondes Positives raising the bar on packaging, as always.

@dollar... End of year lists - it seems the right time to get a thread started. I feel like I've missed out on a lot as I was out of the loop/budget constrained for a lot of this year. I'd be interested in everyone's new/reissues if the year. Heck, I'd be interested to know everyone's favourite non-score/soundtrack best of 2020 too.

I need to check out that silent night. I am quite familiar with the movie but can't remember the music.
As Dollar also mentioned Assoluto Naturale is great. That theme is one of my all time favourite tracks from Morricone. So beautiful and sad to me.

Yes happy to have that Assoluto.

Now this Walter Hill flick that I don’t think I have ever seen...
