My dad was like yours in a way, he would take us to adult stuff like 2001 and drama films. It would be like ohh another Donald Sutherland film but once in awhile we get a Phantasm or a Howling. I think seeing The Thing in theater had the biggest impact of all the films. My dad refused to take us to that one so I begged my mom amd she finally took us. So great! Oddly The Thing was not frightening to my ten year old brain, I just thought this is the coolest stuff I had ever seen.
You seeing The Thing at 10 years old on a big screen makes all the sense in the world ;-)

Still riding the Sorgini train this morning... though this one is probably a bit intense and eerie for the start of the day tbh.

@ScoJo: I also really dig the recently released Sorginis, Urlo is probably my favourite - or Africa Oscura. Oh well, they‘re all great.

This is my first spin today, working from home (as most people are in these times).

Mr Budd delivers.

I've seen a few of you praise this one on here. I feel like I may need to obtain a copy.

If you're still curious, there's a number of tracks on the Mondo SoundCloud page.

Its good @inks it was part released as a split LP with black belly of the tarantula. Released by Cerberus in, the 80's? It seemed to be the sleeper surprise of the split LP. Not listened to it in a long time though, need to rectify that.

Hope everyone is doing fine. Have been very busy last two weeks. Today first time in weeks I am able to play some records while doing some cleaning. Will check later what you all have been up to.
