do not buy much new stuff and it was a real surprise to get a unexpected parcel this week. i don't even remember when i have ordered this. anyway, this is dirty in every way. i think the mix is kind of weird on some cues but still, this is really one of the best in the series. i think many of the previous ones were not really good but this is was a no brainer...

These 2 beauties arrived today. Or I should better call them the beauty and the beast.

Un Bianco is one of my favourite giallo scores. Used to have it on CD several years ago and was hoping that someone would reissue it when I got back into vinyl. Now that I don‘t buy so much stuff anymore I just treated myself to an OG. I know that some of you have this/know about it but I feel it‘s still not mentioned very often when people discuss giallo music. Some truly wonderful tunes on this one.

And the Nicolai is a dark trip (some of the music is used on Case of the Scorpion‘s Tail. ). Love those thick Gemelli sleeves, and both sound incredible. Very happy today. :)

I want a copy of Rendez Vous so bad! I have yet to see a copy for less than $100 :( And the current copies on discogs are from Italy so shipping is $25-$35 depending on the seller.

I was unaware of Un Bianco, I will check it out later today.

I made a lowball offer on discogs for Rendez Vous last week and some other Nicolai - I ended up getting that plus Contrasti and Dramma e Paesaggio, shipped from Europe, for around the usual price of just Rendez Vous.

Also, thanks for the tip on that Un Bianco score. I hadn’t heard it before and now I must obtain it.
