this Fallabrino record is really good! so underrated! really interesting how they have used Chappells TVMusic sleeves. there must be some strange connection between these.

was doing some record cleaning over the weekend and pulled this Fallabrino related record off the shelf Incidently. did not even remember i have it, nor how the music sounds. i really must say that this record is quite underrated and it has been sitting on the shelf for too long, haha! very obscure release on the possibly privately run Audial label and it looks like this is it's sole release, where two artists/composers put some money together to have a showcase record. really love the simplistic design and how they put two volumes up on one 2LP. my copy does have a handwritten dedication by Fallabrino himself inside the gatefold sleeve. music is quite mellow but really groovy with ocasional fuzz...

@million oh man, what I’ve heard of that is amazing.

Speaking of which: I’ve only listened to the A side of this cause I have to watch Better Call Saul, but this is absolutely incredible (and weirdly, a totally different ‘Pictures’ than the MP2000 one).

update: B side is also incredible.

what a psychedelic cover @havershaw!

this i got only recently from a guy who has found a big stack of libraries. unfortunately i was a bit late on others but this i got for super cheap in unplayed condition. the drums are mean, the organ is wild, the fuzz is good - it's al good! another signature record by the two big library Alan's...

nice! I have a couple of those Themes records, but I don’t think I have this one. Love it.

Also, thanks for the heads up on those April Orchestra eBay auctions - I managed to snag 6 of them, 4 euro EACH!
granted, they hit me with €38 in shipping, which seems excessive, but it still means I basically got them for €10 each with shipping. Can’t beat that.

side note: the Pictures LP is this one

But seriously look at this dudes awesome gear. It's a very 1986 record. I could see this getting licensed for a million awful corporate videos, but other parts make me want to drive a datsun and snort coke off a strippers ass. Love the prophet sound.

Keyboards:
FAIRLIGHT C.M.I.
YAMAHA DX - 7
PROPHET 500 - 600
ROLAND
STEINWAY PIANO
YAMAHA PIANO
LINN DRUM
SIMMONS DRUM

@texas whoa, that is awesome!

well, a lot of it is, anyway. I have complicated feelings about saxophone and its use in 80s music.
I am loving the synth parts in that song, though, big time.

Digging that Tele Music record for sure.

Speaking of synth, this is pretty damn solid all the way through:

A lot of melodic and dark electronics here. Moody. Keeper for sure.

Records with the theme of “children” are ones I usually avoid because they tend to just be goofy and overly saccharine.
But this one is quite good!
