I love it. Something awesome (and so French...) about the production and drums :)

This was the only way you would hear versions of these Carpenter bangers with live percussion before he himself started touring/re-recording them.

I am slightly beside myself tonight.

bonus: there are also several Night of the Living Dead cues on these records!

Really loving the pressing and sound quality of these.

Where did you end up finding these?

#13 showed up on Discogs and I snapped it up minutes after it was listed, haha.

The seller said he had more Media Music he hadn’t listed, if I was looking for more.
I sent a list, and 4 was the only other one he had. He gave me a *great* deal on that one.

#13 was $75 but he threw in #4 for $40.

I swear, there’s a cue on here that’s in Creepshow that hasn’t been identified yet. I recognize it plain as day, but it’s not on my known list of cues.

And anyway, these are solid records, start to finish. The tracks I’m unfamiliar with are just as great as the ones I knew.

I actually bought another Media Music release last week, which doesn’t have anything I’m familiar with, but it was part of the drama/suspense group and it was cheap, so I jumped on it.

Thought Varese would have learned to lay off those crappy printed inners after Ghost of Mars. I guess I was wrong. :( hopefully it sounds better after a cleaning.

@ Revolver: great picture! And the two albums on the right I have seen before but never heard a clip, so no idea how that music is.

I would love to have a copy of this artwork to frame:

And don't forget to spin this on 45 :-)

Great English version of the mazinger z theme on this one.

@static and @scojo's antics got me on a 80's synth tip, and I like it ;D

Some surprisingly similar elements to this and commando, at least to my ears

@Dollar - epic run! Commando has really hit the spot for me. One of my favorites from the last few years.

This is a treat, and I’m only a few tracks in.

edit: A really wonderful album overall. This sent my brain into a nice space tonight. A great package too: clean and flat black vinyl in poly-lined inner sleeves.

i haven't been able to spin my Bladerunner copy yet, I need to make the hole bigger.
Yes, I had the same. I applied some extra force and it worked. Was afraid I couldn't remove the record but with a little twist it came off with not much force.

Same experience here and only on the first disc.
