These guys were animals...I have it cranked to 11 and the neighbors probably don't like me. Blistering psych rock, and then it gets to a lovely Italian bossa out of nowhere... I'd bet Alessandro may have been in the studio with Edda for that one called "Ti-A-Ta". Then the whole thing ends with "Apollo beat" which is a psych blues face melter with standard blues rock riffing laid over a haunting treated choral track.

Unfortunately not reissued and not very likely to see one (I think licensing on RCA SP must be tricky)

it seems like some Fauna Marina records are emerging! now when i have two copies again...if anyone cares, my spare copy is at least EX/EX (slightly better than the discogs one). send me a PM if you are interested in this almost classic record...

@Million: external shame because of the insane price for a mediocre record? Or vice versa?
I am not sure what to make of record pricing. There appear to be some very rich individual for whom my 10 euro equals their 100 euro.

@Bez: i would say musically, this is a 80-100€ record if mint. of course it is kind of rare but it does not justify to drop so many dollars for it only to have it on Instagram...i mean, there are some music connoisseurs who really apprechiate the music but could never afford it. strange world AKA external shame

Never realised that people buy stuff because of Instagram. But when you read people rent private jets and supercars simply for creating instagram posts I am not surprised.
I also do like to show my recent purchases on STBC but I would never buy anything just because of it.

i have heard some crazy/funny stories by some of europes well-known label owners and sellers about Instagram buyers you would not believe. like buyers asking if there is a recognizable sticker or damage on front cover that would look like shit on their instagram account and stuff like that.

Aspetti is not the best IMHO I was offered it for 150 but passed on it. Good Rino track or two but the sorgini stuff is very meh

But ask what changed from 2015 to 2019... The answer is "someone uploaded it to youtube"

oh man, you should have grabbed it for 150 as they really do not turn up too often!

agreed on the growing awareness through youtube but the growing prices also reslut from dudes trying to equip their instagram accounts with more cherries they are able to swallow. some people are way too dogged and drop insane loot, which leads to the conclusion that the dealers adjust the prices up to heaven and these pieces become unavailable to the public. and then i read terms like "finally i was able to file this one" and i almost have to vomit.

luckily i have cured myself from this library doom loop even if many people diss me. have started meditating and got away from all this Instagram bragging and bullshit like...

Maybe I should have gotten it. The guy sent me samples, but he only recorded the most boring sorgini cues. I should've gotten it maybe over vernissage 2 which I rarely listen to. But he's also tried to sell me bullshit so I was always skeptical what he said is good is not really that good!!

I personally tend not to post my best pieces on IG only mid range ones, or if it's really good then not show the cover and pixelate the record, but I don't mind if folks want to show their stuff off or share the great music on some of the records. Plus if it builds some hype that just makes my stuff worth more!!

I have records that in hindsight I overpaid for, and also many others that hindsight shows were a great deal. So it goes, I don't worry about what others pay or think, just what works for me.

I will say, at least Mike (I assume he is a primary suspect of yours) was honest in that little movie. Maybe the others didn't tell their wives what they spent

Ok so now Q1-3 will be on the platter today after the musax made me think of these. Wish I knew more about them other than they are just crazy fucking good records, it doesn't even make sense... It appears a wise person snapped up the Q1 and Q2 that had been for sale.

Million you put me on the search for this a few years back. It took a pretty long time to find an affordable copy, but I managed to find a nice clean one from a seller in South Africa for 120. Great recommendation, it's a killer record!!

crazy price the Made In USA was auctioned last week, but a fantastic record nonetheless...in fact, this might be my favourite Tommasi album ever.
