@Texas: if you dig De Filippi's Giardino Dei Miei Desideri, you will like Tema: Amore, too! same direction. i would say it is even better with some unmistakable Alessandroni/De Filippi vibes besides a little rather average romantic banter. this one has grown on me over the years and the longer i have it, the more i like it.

a little fun fact: the cover of this record is thick and heavy like a brick! only one that comes close is Underground by Braen's Machine. if you want to listen to this frequently, you need to exercise a bit, haha!

last fun fact: this record is a contender to the chalk style library cover list.

TEMA AMORE: This must mean Theme Love. Yes, all about love. You see the mad thing about this TV library archive thing is that I went all the way up North to collect this large load of library records. It was a bit of a gamble as I had no idea what was going to be there, if anything at all. And when I arrived there were loads, and I mean loads of 78s. KPM 78s. Bosworth 78s. Chappell 78s. Hundreds of them all looking for a skip or a home. In amongst the piles of these were piles of 33rpm pieces, Conroys, Chappells, and then in amongst all these were some bizarre Italian LPs. It seems as if some bloke in Manchester in the early 1970s was importing obscure Italian library LPs and sending them to big TV companies as new library music they could license. This is one of those babies, still with his odd Manchester sticker on. The second I laid eyes on this baby it was indeed love. Artwork done in chalk, very thick sleeve card, all music by Alessandroni using the name Gisteri and boy oh boy what a humdinger. I am still very much in love with this baby, it has jazz, classical and wordless filmic elements and everytime I hear it I hear something else.

Archive copy of Droga appears, but the price is not friendly at 1 arm + 2 legs. Actually someone uploaded the full LP to YouTube. It honestly isn't as good as I thought. Nowhere close to Nevrosi. I mean when the fucking sax kicks in late in the record it's like whattttttt those guys were evil wizards from space, goddamn

I know man, these are all just sorcery. And I think you need to go back and listen to Thrilling again.. like the kettle drums in 'Epilogo', the cello + marimba + theremin instrumentation on 'Dracula', or how 'Bluff Sentimentale' is nostalgic and sweet but also has theremin making it also feel unsettling. Come E Perche is screaming for some Wu-Tang rhymes, and La Gang is a five and a half minute scorcher. The theremin playing on this is really good too. I've listened to it quite a bit lately.

Totally get that. I got one of those today... Took a chance on Simbolismo Psichedelico for a cheap price and not in good condition. I'm glad I didn't spend very much, because it's pretty noisy, and the back looks like someone ripped packing tape off of it. But it was one of the missing iacoucci pieces.

really like Simbolismo Spichedelico. a record that does not get too much spins but if you are in the mood for it, it is really great.

love that Industria N.1 so much! played it myself only recently. one of the most creative libraries ever recorded. really sad that only one volume was released. i bet there are some reels with cues for N.2 somewhere...

another industrial lib. this one is very inovative actually! the artist has made some field recordings (in factories mainly), has looped them and has added some insturmentals. insane meccanizzazione AKA the first sample based hip hop instrumental album, haha!

I saw someone listed one of the other Ediphon LPs name was "martinade" or something like that, but by the title I assumed it might be religious music or something crappy and not psych madness. Do you have that one too-- is it any good?

Sometimes there are only two options-- pay the toll, or don't have the record!! And Brani Vari is next level, impossible to even price check rare. The kind of thing you could ask just about every big dealer 'hey what do you think this is worth' and they would all say "I don't know, unfortunately I've never had or seen a copy of this record before."

really in love with this UK library. i have only two Regency Line issues but i am sure this is the better one, if not one of the best from this label.
the records title Late Night Music with the subtitle Groovy sounds for Night Club situations is extremely appealing. you get certainly in the mood of dirty red light music in the 60s when this one is up! great easy and stylish stuff with occasional fuzz. whole record is highly enjoyable. will make a discogs review sooner than later on that one.

it is interesting to have such a good library with almost totally unknown composers. the compositions from Jean Vassilis made it on one of those french Top Instrumental Music records, but strangely they were cut in lenght for the french version which made it completely unappealing to me.

if you are into this kind of stuff, the Regency Line version is the one for you...

Fauna popped up again so maybe someone didn't buy it after all. I don't understand the price on that one, I could never pay it. I saw Ragazza disappear after listed for 2000 and a Preistoria after listed for 1500 (for a VG copy!). Droga that guy is a doctor he not making any deals it was probably bought straight up in that condition.

a Psycheground sold yesterday for at least 2000€ in VG+ by the way. can't understand how anyone can spend so much on this.

Finally snagged a cheapish copy of this one. These music scene record must not have been widely distributed, they seem pretty scarce.

Is it really Lou Stein (American jazz pianist), or is that an alias? It is piano-led stuff. Great record I am enjoying it for sure.
