I was hoping Waxworks release would be more on the line of this. Since I have an original MCA I may let my Waxwork edition go.

Notefornote is selling the 2-LP set of The Thing re-recording for $9.99 HERE
Thanks for the heads up on this. I've already spent a pretty penny on the Invada sale and a couple of other records this week (Steve Moore's 'The Mind's Eye', Daniel Davies' 'Events Score' and Rob's 'Revenge'), but had to pick this up for $24 shipped to the UK. Anyone know if it comes with a download (I think not?). Already have the WW version, but this is a great supplement.

@chiefbrody, unfortunately, no download but you can find it on spotify. Congrats on your other scores. Steve Moore's A Mind's Eye is great!

Thanks Tim. I thought not. I seem to remember one site had it 'bundled' with a download, but can't remember what site it was.

I'm getting towards the end of my rebellion against streaming, I think, so Spotify will need to do, once I surrender to the inevitable!

I remember @ScoJo talking about the Moore score on a DFC way way back (I think) and it's been on my radar since then.

Chief, you're going to love that version of The Thing I suspect. Also, the Daniel Davies LP is a gem.

May have been on twitter, chief- I recall raving about the score but being very unimpressed by the film itself- and was mortified when the director (whom I should say I hadn't tagged in my neg-ish tweet, as I'm not a dick) went and 'liked' it! :-/
