I wonder the same thing. I have a shit ton of their releases and they are all really well made
It helps that they don't have to pay to license anything, but they also take extreme pride in the mastering, cutting, and pressing of their LPs. That and they aren't trying to make it all back on each sale.

Jewel also keeps all his stuff in print. When I first got into IDIB I tried to track down older releases to backfill some stuff, then I realized that he will ALWAYS drop a different variant months later. He wants people to have his music and enjoy it beyond anything else.

It's a helluva pleasurable model, isn't it? I would add Invada to a super-short list of folks 'doing us right' - with few exceptions that I can think of, all their releases have remained in print. (Full force '1st World Probs' awareness in my musings, as ever mind ;-)

In our free time, we're posting in a horror-centric soundtrack message board on the World Wide Web. You don't have to use that caveat here. It goes without saying.

Thanks, as ever, for the bamboo-knuckle-rapp, sensai. My schooling is sluggish- like the oxen. Fortunately the earth she is patient.

Enjoy the Ride Records are repressing MK 1 & 2 OST on Fatality (350 copies) and Smoke (150 copies). These are probably going to sell out super fast. They go on sale at 12 EST on 2/1. If you want this I would be pretty prompt. The reptile variant I think had 300 copies and sold out in a few minutes so I expect Smoke to vanish (lol).

Update:
There are more variants at other places

2nd Pressings Variants:
Sub Zero Ice Blue with Splatter (Limited to 500 & Exclusive to Edsawesomesounds)
Fireball Swirl (Limited to 300 & exclusive to Zavvi)
Reptile Acid (Limited to 700- Retail Color distributed by Light In The Attic)
Fatality (Limited to 350 & exclusive to the Enjoy The Ride Records Web Store)
Smoke (Limited to 150 & exclusive to the Enjoy The Ride Records Web Store)

Woah- so it turns out that, as a young kid, Neil Young was actually Olivia Colman...

NathanLurker wrote:I shouldn't sample it then. will keep it in the wishlist of bandcamp to check in 2 weeks, because I ordered 6 albums from the Invada sale that's going on right now. Can't offord more expenses.

INVADA SALE (enter at your wallet's own risk)
I would love if these prices reflected on Lakeshores side of the pond. I saw the price on Annihilation added to my cart and went to check out and realized it was going to cost the same price to ship the record to me as the price of the record I realized I should just buy the release from over here.

After regretting not getting the Hauntlove covers for the two Slasher Film Fest albums (especially Crimson Throne...I'm a sucker for skulls in spacesuits) I spent the extra $$$ to get the Hauntlove edition for the Broken Lamps LP. I bought the cassette EP/demo/album thing a few months ago from Broken Lamps and it was great. Haven't heard anything from this latest release but I'm pretty sure it will be super chill.
