I'm amazed that they only charge $20, even for double LPs like Themes For Television. What would your favorite release from them be? I've been wanting to pick up another LP but unsure of what I want to order.

I think any of the recent Jewell score releases are worth picking up. Symmetry - Themes For An Imaginary FIlm is another favorite. And BEATBOX by Glass Candy if you want to dance.

Ghosts Of Mars
Varèse Sarabande ‎– VSD-6286
2018
I haven't spun this since the disappointing first spin. Decided to give it another cleaning with a different cleaning fluid and brush. Results are much better. At least for side 1. A noticeable quieter play. The jury is still out for side 2 which I think was worse.

@tim what did you clean yours with? I did a quick wash on mine and wipe down, I didn't notice any major improvements. I may need a good brush for cleaning

I used Tergikleen which I got off Amazon back in 2017.
Tergikleen
Just found out it has a 2 year shelf life and I hadn't used any so cracked it open. 20 drops into a gallon on distilled water. I used a fingernail brush to get down into the grooves. I went back and forth but decided what the heck, could the bristles make it worse? Then vacuumed off with my VPI. Side 1 was noticeable better. Side 2 was better but still not great. Maybe a third cleaning on it.

Thanks for the quick response. I'll grab some of this in the near future and give it a go. I never thought of using a fingernail brush to do the cleaning. Not a bad idea.

It's the first time I've used a fingernail brush. I got the idea from youtube. Many think the bristles are too hard and will scratch the vinyl. These didn't. I really don't know if they got in the grooves any better than my regular brush I use but will continue to use it on the more stubborn jobs.
