Nice ones static!

I finally got my dkc order. The shipping took a while but it's a great little boot. I was good at the first DKC game, but this one always kicked my ass.

Nice @tex I see you went for the Dixie variant.

@static, I love that Swamp Thing LP. So damn good, the music is better than the film which is still pretty enjoyable in it's C-Grade entertainment. What is that other LP you posted with the pool of blood?

@static - Nice spins, I really enjoy that Libra album.

@tim - Great to see the OG Tron out on somebody's turntable.

Last of the expanded Goblin reissues I have picked up so far:

Varèse Sarabande : 40 Years Of Great Film Music 1978-2018
Varese Sarabande VSD00009
A solid compilation from THE number 1 soundtrack label. Their pressings have been a bit of a hit and miss for me lately but this one is up there with The Sixth Sense. Vinyl is super quiet and flat. Recommended.

Some epic spins up I'm here, awesome stuff.

Not playing now but this series has been gracing the deck through the holiday season.
The Masaru Satoh Sound series.

So much good and varied music across these records. Loving the whole series, although at a push Iwould say 2,4 and maybe 10 are the weakest. If I get the time would love to do a deep cut covering these records.

That sounds like a riveting read and listen.

Will try and find a late night to rip was planning a 1 to 2 hour selection from the series.

@Dollar - I would also be very interested in that Deep Cut.

@static - sweet Morricone run. I feel that Il Sorriso Del Grande Tentatore is an underappreciated gem.

I'm not the biggest Elfman fan, the last two decades he doesn't really interest me with his work but I love a lot of his earlier stuff (Batman, Beetlejuice, Pee Wee). Men In Black is one of the last ones I really like. I snagged this from Enjoy the Ride Xmas sale for $10. I just had it on in the background while making dinner last night so I'm not sure what the pressing quality is. I do really like the burst they did, it's quite fitting to the film.
