A favorite from this past year. Stoked to land a test pressing which sounds thrilling in the headphones right now. I hear some strong cohesion in this album. The violins feel very Puppet Master to me, and keep bringing me back to the characters and storyline. Enjoying a few hours of post-holiday respite before heading back into the world.

Beautiful score and a bit haunting. The original poster art is something else.

I was hoping Waxworks release would be more on the line of this. Since I have an original MCA I may let my Waxwork edition go.

@static...yes, it really is. It will probably become mine also. And can be found at very reasonable prices. Seriously considering letting my Waxwork copy go.

This pressing sounds really good to me, and I am enjoying the alternate takes as an expanded album. Even the cover art is growing on me, which is also expanded on the insert. I have a small stack of these expanded Goblin reissues to grind through, and I just might be able to pull it off.

Now over to DWRC to check out @RedGoblin's expanded album. The rhythm section on this album is just on fire, and especially on Death Dies, always a favorite. Mastering sounds clean, but I have some surface noise on the first disc. Translucent red vinyl has been a miss for me lately it seems. Randy Ortiz's cover art for this album is the one of my favorites from the recent reissues.

@Jimmy_Mike and @texasvinyl.... I only got through the first album before having to leave for dinner but it's a really beautiful and haunting score. I've eyed it since seeing the movie (which I also recommend) back when it was released. It really stood out to me in the movie so when I can across it in a used record store I got it. It gets a thumbs up from me. I imagine you can find it on Spotify and/or youtube if you want to audition. I'm hoping to snag a copy of The Orphanage also sometime down the road.
