Killer's Moon (Obscure 1970s British slasher movie with a weird mix of avant-garde music and songs.)

Just watched The Innkeepers now, and going by the sneak preview of artwork from a few months back, it's definitely happening at some point.

I think both Sub 4,5 & 6 are going to be pretty mind-blowing.
I think you'll see Lynch and Fulci spread out between 4 & 5.
There will be stand alone releases too especially with Beyond Fest on the horizon.

Awesome. I wondered/hoped if/that now you've struck a deal with Lynch/Badalamenti we may be getting more.

The prospect of Mulholland Drive or Lost Highway or Blue Velvet et al is pretty orgasm inducing! :)

Mulholland Drive is particularly awesome, but way too expensive right now.

I know it isn't horror - but I'd give anything to see DW put out a full release for Scarface. I can't believe all the labels are seemingly ignoring it when it's a full Moroder album! He's having such a resurge right now, it would be so well received. Just my two cents. It is such an amazing soundtrack, it deserves the best treatment by someone like DW, OWS, or WW.

scarface would be extra ordinary! and escape was also not a Horror movie...and it would benot just a reissue..since the original Album has only 2 tracks from the score on it...it could be 2lp set with megatastic artwork and the full score forthe first time ever on Vinyl officially

I didn't know Scarface had a score other than what is on the existing release.

If I recall correctly, all the songs on the soundtrack are composed by Moroder, but if a separate score exists, I would definitely buy that.

Moroder's full Scarface (I was unaware this existed) would be grand. I'd love Cat People as well, but that Bowie vocal track might be a road block. I've no idea.

I have a "home edition" of Moroder's complete score from Scarface - someone created it from the music track from a blu ray of the film...there's enough music of GMs in the film to fill both sides of a glorious special edition wax release for sure ;)

You had mentioned a film celebrating it's 30th, but perhaps we all misunderstood.

Don't expect Lost Highway, as it's not a score so the rights issues aren't as easy (and it's not Lynch who has the rights, it's Interscope records as it was released on the Nothing Records imprint). Also, I'm not sure I see Death Waltz releasing any soundtrack that is a compilation of existing tracks, which many of Lynch's films are. Twin Peaks is the obvious omission from that rule, as is Eraserhead, but that was recently done by Sacred Bones, so I wouldn't think that would happen. Not sure what other Lynch releases they'd do unless Badalamenti has some unreleased stuff and his portion could fill an entire release. I'd be happy to be proven wrong on all this though, as any Lynch release from DW is something I'd buy sight unseen.

The Scarface soundtrack that was released is just all the tracks of music he wrote and produced with other artists for the movie, with two or three tracks of his score also included. The other release that's been floating around is a bootleg from the DVD audio track. I agree, this would be awesome, though it might be better suited for LaLaLand or someone who would release the entire thing, which I imagine would be a double CD release. It's definitely one I'd like to see released by anyone who would do it right, great score.

I love every single track on the official score. How big a part did GM have in the creation of all these awesome tracks?

Anyone happen to have said a scarface bootleg disc that they could copy?! I would love to own all the instrumental music.

This has probably been mentioned on the forum, but when is the next DW sub going to go on sale? A rough timeline, if possible. If I want in this time, I need to figure out how much time I have to squirrel away some funds. Thanks!

I think late-April/May is the current estimate.
