Tiger Lab is reissuing it this month! Jon confirmed it with me on twitter and he's been dropping little bits of info over the last few weeks, now that Alone in the Woods is done and released, it seems like Tiger Lab is back on track. They are repressing Perfect Blue this month and offering a 2019 subscription so it looks like we will be getting a handful of new releases next year, a few of which were "highly requested" by fans over the last few years for them to release. I'm pretty excited.

@dollar, as always I'm insanely jealous of your anime soundtrack collection. I want that one real bad and the the Vampire Hunter D that some one posted on the last page.

I could see this one sitting very nicely in tigerlabs catalogue, and certainly deserves a reissue.

@dolla- will never forget that you hooked me up with this, and the movie. You had a spidey-sense that I would dig both, and boy were you not wrong. Domo arigato again, mang. Will spin this at some point today in yo honour.

(and of course now I also immediately want to rewatch too... what an incredible trip it is, and that ending!!)

@TIm - Jealous of that snow. And the spins.
@Dollar - I put this in my wantlist over a year ago and sort of forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder.
@Deaf - Players gotta play.

@scojo need to rewatch it too. It gets a very mixed reviews but I love it. So many people complain about the pace and lack of dialogue and narrative, which makes me want to scream BUT THATS THE WHOLE POINT!

@deaf need to get the shining one of these days, along with a bunch of other classics.

recently been making my way through some of this series. I think there are 11 in total. Each record is essentially a collection of Japanese film composers works. I need to research them more as it seems for each record some dude meets up with the composer for a coffee/smoke and interview which I can only assume is the text on the 4 page insert ( apologies for lack of pics). some of which even include cat numbers for other recommended LPs :0 .
Will try and do some translating with that nifty google translate app that @deaf recommended, basically take a photo and the app translates the record sleeve, soo handy.

On the whole plenty of contemporary classical sounds, but also some concret, jazzy and groovey sounds dotted around.

You can trust Deutsche Grammophon. Excellent dynamics and dead silent pressing.

@Dollarhyde that is some interesting stuff. I want to get into Toru Takemitsu since Trunk played it in the radio, want to recommend an album by him? It seems like good classical by the tracks I played.
