Glad to see you picked it up! And even more happy that you are enjoying it.

After watching Fulci's Murderock a few weeks ago I immediately went on to Discogs and ordered this beautiful soundtrack.

It just makes me want to....

Bezulsqy wrote:@inskb I'll that Murderock you posted. If have never seen it nor heard the score. But will check it out.
@bez, nice spin on that Beyond the Black Rainbow, I still haven't picked it up but need to. I love the score.

As for Murderock, I loved it, it's a giallo mixed with Flashdance. I had always heard from others that Fulci fell off drastically after New York Ripper, but he has two films that came out after that either people haven't seen or just don't know what they are talking about. Murderock and The Devil's Honey are great films. And I think he has a bunch of OK films from the mid to late 90's like The New Barbarians, Conquest and Zombi 3. Still need to watch Aenigma and Touch of Death.

This is flippin' amazing. Picked it up at a record fair on Sunday, and really pleased to have snagged the Dutch release with the porn-ey sleeve art!

So, full disclosure - I am, without any argument, two things.

I am a huge TD fan, as I'm sure you all know. My first concert, love (almost) every era of the band. LOVE this band.

I am also a big believer in Delayed Gratification.

So I've known about this soundtrack forever, and have never so much as listened on YT or whatever. A porn soundtrack by Klaus Schultze, from the same year as Sorcerer? Why have I not been All Over This Shit??

Like I say - I parcel out my joy at times, and it so happens that I was waiting until this very day to have my MIND BLOWN by this utter bangeroonie. Woof!!!

Somewhere between Sorcerer, Popol Vuh's 'Aguirre' and Jean Michel Jarre, Side B is owning my turntable right now.

I'm really enjoying imagining just what kind of on-screen shenanigans these melting liquid-synth trip-outs are accompanying, and spotting the 'money shot' moments haha!

One last thought - I'm convinced that Adrian Lynne was inspired by this film/score when he decided to marry his soft-core couplings in Nine and a Half Weeks to electro tracks by JM Jarre and the like. I can prove this with an etch-a-sketch.

Anyhow - ScoJo says: Get your fuck on with this Karnal Kosmische Kraut killer!! :D

Body Love is great ! I think it's the first Schulze I ever bought. Great spin, Scojo.

ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13. A Fave of mine. Perfect release.

Now spinning this one: LA SETTA aka The SECT. Side A is way to "country pop" for me. Side B is the Donaggio score.
