Not at all. As ScoJo notes, they are traditionally thought of as the most reliable variant. In fact, quite a few ambient releases that want to go the colored wax route or offer a limited and/or deluxe edition go clear for this very reason.

Well, that and needing to rid New Teegeeack of all the space ghosts trapped in its volcanoes.

MOV is repressing Daughters of Darkness again this time on clear wax, due Dec 14th.

Good to hear. I was hoping the second posting would be on black. Shame. Not sure if I have a strong opinion on clear wax - off the top of my head I can't think of any that I have, though I did just buy one today (non OST, Bill Ryder-Jones).

There already is a black version. The clear is the third run. Or maybe the second limited run. I do not think the black is really limited.

Grabbed a copy. It's a little pricey with shipping from the EU but DKC2 has one of the best soundtracks on the system so it's a must own. Which version did you grab @tex Diddy or Dixie?

Interesting that they chose to omit Axel F and Shoot Out (the score's two proper radio-length singles which can be found on many albums including the widely available soundtrack) as they don't actually appear in the film. I kind of like that. Tracklisting...approved!

PS - Kind of garbage variants as per usual with these guys (You should see the retail number by the bye. I think it's supposed to be a banana-themed splatter but so help me the colors just conjure up images of the unfortunately rapey hobo brother from Street Trash.). But, as Static said, my ridiculously bespeckled True Romance sounds pretty alright so my hopes for this are foolishly high.
