Well I guess that just proves the quality of their selection ;D
I have/had a few of them already but I am happy to support this project anyway, I mean getting all those guys like torossi, Nilovic and Cameron on film talking about library music, can't wait to watch it.

@Dollarhyde glad you liked getting the Freedom Power LP as much as you did! Glad to share this music.

Is the new Library LP worth getting? I might get that, but definitely getting the DVD.

EDIT - Also hell YES for the Italians also for showing up!

not many library music made by Stelvio Cipriani and even less under his Viostel pseudonym (which is the interchanged syllables of his first name Stel-Vio by the way).

this record appears in the Music Library book and the comment says 'super groovy sounds' and i could not describe it better in three words. unbelievably great hidden jewel where Cipriani proves his skills not for the first time.

that Viostel could be a full unreleased score to a giallo movie actually. and i have the feeling that it is. i am overtaken by all those Cipriani reissues over the past years and would be glad if some Cipriani specialist in here could have a look at it.

watched the Library Music Film over the weekend. i think it is a lot of fun. really great that they always show those tags of the tunes playing in the background. all those graphic details using the old design is great, too. so much love in there. also fantastic to see some of the old grandmasters. really great to hear these old stories. such a surprise to see Sandro Brugnolini in there, too.

i guess it is a matter of taste but i do not understand why some to me lesser important people appear in this movie (e.g. Mike Wallace) while some really important do not (e.g. Andy Votel).

also i do not agree with Psycheground being one of the top shelf libraries. it is seriously rare and expensive but not a groundbreaking record in my opinion. but again, i guess it is a matter of taste...

what is your opinion on the movie?

It is!

Seems to be Radley Metzger's Erotica Psychedelica? I think? It's on Itunes. https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/radle ... /725767999

Track being:
Insincerely Yours (The Lickerish Quartet)

Really killer music! Been trying to hunt it down.

your post from a few weeks ago inspired me to spin this beauty (again).

seriously good record that should be in every collection and the 'Strange Sound' tag on the back of the cover describes it quite well...

I could help you with that. It is not a giallo I think but softcore porn.

Description of the movie:
A jaded, wealthy couple watch a blue movie in their castle home along with her adult son. The son is testy, so they go into town and watch a circus-like thrill ride. The daredevil woman in the show looks exactly like one of the women in the movie, so the man invites her to join them for a nightcap. Tensions among the family seem to rise. She stays overnight, and during her 24 hours in the castle, each of its three residents involves her in a fantasy. She, in turn, keeps asking, “Who has the gun?” Will there be violence before it’s over?

MPI !! Whoop whoop

Agreed those prices are nassty. There are some crazy goings on in the discogs library world :D I've seen some dudes freaking out that rare stuff is getting reissued exclaiming the need for so called grails to remain rare and expensive to retain their quality, or something to that effect.

That Themes LP is great too! One I would like to pick up one day, I don't know why they did not reissue this one with all those other libraries on bewith records? Better than mystery movie imo.
