I have very fond memories of discovering Slugs on a random cable channel as a teen. That one had me grinning for days. I never realized it was directed by the same guy who did Pieces. Time for a revisit:

I love this movie. Some of the exterior shots of the big old house were shot right down the road from where I grew up. This and Slugs were the two films that were made locally while growing up.
Wow! Slugs! What a claim to fame!

@static - Jealous of your TT time today.

i was about to start a new list: the italian soundtracks with big question marks on the cover. ended up with these two, haha!

but seriously. Interrabang is very special to me and it got 3 spins today. in my opinion the most beautiful OST coming from italy. i think it is really underrated still. so captivating.....the perfect melancholia.

that Icy Eyes is also great but in a different way. that one is supposed to tear my speakers while Interrabang is tearing my soul apart...

Not listening to yet but will be tomorrow. My father-in-law passed away 14 years ago, and these boxes of vinyl have been sitting in my mother-in-law’s basement for all that time (luckily with a dehumidifier). She passed them along to my wife and me today. There are some sentimental titles for my wife, but there will be some titles for me as well: he loved Vangelis, and I did see the soundtrack to the old TV show Cosmos in there. Also an album of marching music. I will post photos of some of the more interesting finds.

That is bittersweet and wonderful, Reddye. I hope your wife and your good self enjoy the dig. Cosmos is a fine score and one with which I've just recently become reacquainted.

And finished off the box set. Such a great collection.
I find it quite fun that above your snap of Empire Strikes Back is visible text that reads 'ACT II: THE FATHER OF DEATH'

Beautiful to see those originals... I have seen both movies. Both completely different but brilliant in their own right. I will never forget the goat scene from Interrabang.
-edit- the goat scene is from Top Sensation. Edwige Fenech and a goat. Both movies have to do with a boat and a deserted island.

Remind me to buy that Sonor copy from you @Million. In a month or so when I have money again :-)
And do you know how the Interrabang Dejavu version sounds? I rather go for that one than the green Dagored re-issue.

Snagged a digital copy of ghiaccio and l uomo pelle dura, favorites really. Sonor reissue wasnt good on ghiaccio though. A heads up to a particular rip sharing library forum, i have got so much classics from there... Really opened up this genre. But its pirating really, though.I still support those who put up quality stuff, not many left though. I didn't know Pisano's question mark album was that good!

I still keep my eyes out for a well priced copy of this, I’ve got the repress from a few years ago but there’s something about this original mondo one that I’m just drawn to.

What's reasonable in this case, Hatter?

@Bez: can't judge on the DejaVu but i have the Dagored pressing, which i got for the bonus cuts, that the DejaVu does not have if i am correct. decided to let the Dagored go as i do it with some other back-up copies now. if you are interested i can give it to you for 10€ (plus some shipping). it is in almost mint condition in shrink with the hype sticker on cover.

Here are shots of some of the more interesting items from my father-in-law's vinyl collection. These, mixed in with a lot of jazz and classical, means that there is going to be an ongoing listening party at the house for the next few weeks.

The sticker on the Cage album says that there is a computer printout to help replicate the music at home. Sure enough, there was a dot-matrix printout in the album.
