It's a weird choice of title to re-release, since Mondo made a repress of this in 2014, and it's still not too expensive to find either their pressing, or a different edition in stores. It's a good score though, so anyone who got into soundtrack collecting only recently might want to go with this edition, I don't know.
I'll take it. I almost never buy Mondo titles since their covers in my opinion are not enough related to film.

If it had been a vinyl release of their 40th Anniversary CD released back in 2016 with every que from the movie I probably would've bit, and sold my Mondo. Seeing it's just a re-master of the original Tatoo release, of which I already have 2 copies, I'm passing. I'm sure it will appeal to some. Especially those who don't purchase any releases from Mondo.

Varèse + 666 numbering is almost enough to make me bite, but the choice of a regular reissue on white vinyl is throwing me off. I would have preferred an expanded release since they should already have the rights to all the extra tracks.

The remastered part interests me, but I'll take a cue from Tim and pass on this one. I have the Mondo already and this isn't expanded.

Hard pass from me as well. The tatoo pressing sounds just fine and its readily available for not much money.

It’s a bummer VS chose this when they’re sitting on a treasure trove of amazing music. Most of which they own the rights to in perpetuity. Let’s see what’s next! :)

Gotta get that sweet colored vinyl horror score cash...five years later.

I decided to pick one up. I do have the Mondo pressing which sounds fine but I really like the vinyl drops from VS lately and their not overpriced in my opinion. I have a feeling this will sell out quicker than their other reissues of late. I'm sure they'll have a second pressing of this with a different color variant at some point.

It's rare that this board lets me down, but how did no one alert the rest of us to this before it was too late? $99 would've been a small price to pay for a 7" slice of cinema (and record making!) history. I'm not mad; just disappointed.

That would be the new Scarface 7' ....the Tony Montana variant.

I think it got me to hit ebay and get an old NM copy in shrink with the hype sticker for $19 shipped. I've owned the CD but no vinyl copy. Fantastic score.

If Varese came out with the expanded version on vinyl I'd go for that, but there's nothing that really made me want their copy over an old one...remastered is fine but I've got burnt out on every damn thing being remastered. White vinyl makes me hesitate also.

I got to admit though the Varese is a great price and like someone else said, there's a good chance they will do another pressing at some point.

Nice, thanks for the heads up Bez, I'll buy Virgin Witch for sure, as soon as I can. I wish I could have enough budget to get into these Spettro titles, but they're alyways expensive and most likely they're going to be down in the priority of my wishlist while I try to catch up on the Death Waltz, Four Flies, OWS, Waxwork etc titles that I'm missing. Anyway, if I get a chance, I'd like to pick up the Micalizzis .

We are thinking the same :-)
I bought the Virgin Witch. And I'll get Profondo Rosso this evening. But most other release will be postponed as long as possible. Saving up to buy a lot in November/December with some discounts. Already spent too much this year.

As far as I can tell the first full vinyl release. There is a Digitmovies CD and the 7" on Finders Keepers.

Sweet !
from ForcedExposure :
Dagored present a reissue of Bruno Nicolai's score for the 1972 film Il Tuo Vizio E' Una Stanza Chiusa E Solo Io Ne Ho La Chiave ("Your Vice Is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key"). The complete soundtrack presented on vinyl here for the first time. For this weird gothic horror movie, the director Sergio Martino teamed up with Ennio Morricone's longtime collaborator, the legendary Bruno Nicolai. A classy symphonic soundtrack featuring harpsichord sounds and poignant violins that create a perfect decadent atmosphere. Color vinyl; Edition of 500.

I'm all over this one! Already pre-ordered. Love Nicolai. I really really want some one to reissue his Rendezvous record.

Copies still available from Broken Lizard @ $100 - https://store.brokenlizard.com/featured ... oconut-pe/
I don't know, man. $99.99 seemed pretty fair to me, but $100.00? That just comes off as greedy. Not sure if I want to give this other site my money.
