I know we all have different limits on how much we consider "insane". I'm sure I would spend a lot of stupid money on that Goblin record if I saw it physically in front of me. Online I can talk myself out of that (most of the time)
Average price is difficult to say. I have bought records directly from Japan for prices way below Discogs prices. But I also see a lot of records for sale with prices above Discogs prices. In the end it is a waiting game until a reasonably priced copy pops up. I have only ever seen the Japanese version of A Nightmare on Elm Street for sale one time and I had to have it. Better believe it did not come cheap. However Profondo Rosso and Terminator probably were around $25-$35 plus shipping and customs.

@bezulsqy Thanks, I was curious as those all have such interesting designs for their covers. I may have to venture into that market one of these days.

That Tentacles LP looks awesome.

Logan's Run
Jerry Goldsmith
MGM Records ‎– MG-1-5302

Did everyone get their order in for the new 2lp from Waxwork? Already got a shipping notice for mine but we'll see when it actually starts moving. :)

I actually held off on the expanded. I think the old MGM release is a pretty darn good listen and presentation of Goldsmith’s score.

I’m sure down the road I’ll kick myself for not grabbing it, but there’s too much good stuff coming out to get everything! First world problems.

I'm with you static, too much to spend right now and I like the original cover! Although Ansin did a good job on this new one.

Currently enjoying this Cowboy Bebop which is not official but sounds good to me. There is a legit 2LP you can order as part of a $250 box set with all the Blu rays

Haven't stopped playing this the last few days- not a film I was aware of, Trunk does it again as the music is highly addictive and bewitching Brit library-style 70s orchestral jazz/mood cues heavy on the zither. Cannot endorse more enthusiastically me boyos. And what a cool sleeve!

I saw that Bebop package a laughed aloud as the kids say. Gotta think that score will be getting a proper release soon. Probably right after the $250 packages sell out. The music therein is too much fun.

Just giving this a good listen, trying to work out if I need to jump on the WW re-issue... and I discovered something interesting.

Towards the end of the track 'On the Circuit', there's a striking similarity to one of Chris Young's iconic Hellraiser themes. See what you think!

LOGAN'S RUN - Side A, Track 2: ON THE CIRCUIT
(From around 2' 15"...)

HELLRAISER - Side A, Track 3: HELLBOUND HEART
(From around 1' 40"...)

Heh, well I'm in the UK and on the Trunk mailing list, so he gives us a heads up before releases are announced elsewhere...it's a sweet deal :D

I understand. I felt that way about Mondo's reissue of Profondo Rosso.
