I think you are having way too much fun today Bez. I love the cover to Jaws 3D. I don't remember the soundtrack at all, I'm going to go see if I can find it online to sample.

@inksb: that Jaws 3D is a lot better than I expected. Maybe I'll make a rip of it at one point.
@Mateo: The Mission is rated as the best Ennio has ever done by users of chimai.com. I prefer the western and giallo stuff. The start of this record is a bit too soft for me, but as a whole it is a really good listen.

Killer vibes all over this one: sleazy, slimy, and synthy. Keeps the energy up with some tight 80's-style electronic percussion on most tracks. If you enjoy Jonathan Snipes or Repeated Viewing then I think this might be up your... alley. The case notes on the insert are a nice touch as well -- having recently been immersed in Golden State Killer lore from Jamie (including that hideous voice recording from the phone call), this hit me at a perfect time. Recommended.

Couldn't agree more, Deaf. Akers never disappoints. Stoked to see him getting love around here.

Hi everyone,

been busy moving to another city and having some time without a handheld computer. Working outside at a summer job, having a good time.

I have discovered this again - I bought it a few years back and listened to it once and thought it was OK. But now I see, it's a fantastic soundtrack by RD burman. This album has this weird constant state of dreaminess which I like. Dreamy brazilian jazz psychedelic library pop album. Burman is a guy who steals riffs from Ennio Morricone and everybody else it seems.

It also has this amazing track - Dance Music in the end.

Yes, those 2 are a perfect match.

I could imagine then putting on Deadly Spawn to finish things off nicely.

ChrisMcQueen007 that makes sense!

I can't recall but I used to think of another British monster synth score of that era I would include also but my brain is not cooperating.

Maybe Forbidden World by Susan Justin?

Edit: Not British, though.

Chris I believe it was Ivor Slaney scores to Prey and Terror that I was thinking about. They combined both scores on this one lp. I think this was a unofficial bootleg release. Much less musical but has a similar whining synth sound that puts it in the same neighborhood.

Forbidden World is also a good pick!
