even if this Molino record is quite solid (in oposite to the other ones from this series), i would have purchased it just for one tune: Come Back

it is a great cover version of Umiliani's Crepuscolo Sul Mare which must have been quite a hit in the italian scene if there ever was such a thing like that. actually this is the only cover version of a original library composition, that i know of.

Come Back is one of the biggest gangster tunes that i have ever heard. so incredibly smooth but mean at the same time. just check how the song grows with every second...

@Mateo: really hard to tell as I am not an expert nor a big Molino follower. i own about 8 of his records but none of them is solid all the way through. on the other hand you can find some gold on almost any of his records. but i would say this is the case with most library records, isn't it? haha...

in particular, i really dig these: his Fonit records, Beat Gregoriano, Holiday For Flutes, #1, #4 and #5 from his CAM series and some joints on the Love 2LP

really would like to hear thet Diamonds Four record one day...

some psychological records that i really dig. you have to be in the mood for these for sure, but when you are, these are mind blowing. especially Psych Mood by Luciani is absolutely crazy (what else? haha!)

that minimalistic artwork on those Leonardi's is killing it again...

funniest thing about the Seagull Song on Corviria's ‎Psyco Analysis it, that it should rather be on the Descriptive album with the big seagull on the cover, haha!

always was wondering how these two releases got their picture covers, why they were re-released with the standard CAM company sleeve and what CrT stands for. it seems like Lindok and Donimak had some kind of special agreement with CAM (like Molino with his series).

anyway, i love everything about these releases. the compositions are top-notch. especially Rhythm Of Life, which has that distinctive italian sound and a super composer line-up, including Torossi, Lindok, Brugnolini and Molino. this is the perfect record for a lazy Sunday. finally i was able to make a fair deal with a discogs seller who was trying to sell this for a outrageous sum. it is crazy how long it took me to get this record and this was actually my third attempt, with the first being a fraud and the second getting lost in the postal service (still cry about that one, even if i got my money back)...

that Fine Machine is another damn fine record for sure. much more buzzy and even kind of wild if you ask me. i think Rhythm Of Live deserves a reissue just like the Fine Machine.

also dig the sleeve art and all the little details you discover when you put those two records next to each other.

That Rhythm Of Life is a mythical record. Amazing out of this world feel.

I once saw it in a record shop in Rome - Radiation records. I just randomly googled record stores in Rome one day and saw a bunch of best of Italy on there. Rare Herbana record and just that Lindok record for sale for 300E. I thought I would cop that Herbana record but it went immediately, and so did that Lindok record. I saw it pop on Discogs for 400 and disappeared the next day. The seller that brought it to the record store was Cavalierpiscopo (friend of Sonor) I think.

I'm glad the reissue exists of Habitat though, great record.

Some great spins @milliondollars psyco analysis sounds great. Interesting point about the CAM covers, I often wonder how many CAM releases are actually original library material as a vast amount of the CAM libraries are recycled film scores.

@Dollar: i would say that only 20% of the CAM library catalogue is recycled material but my knowledge on CAM is quite limited and i have only about 15 records. 20% would by my first guess but these might be experts that know better.

super nice catch that Mean & Dirty is! i was playing my copy only one week ago. one of the best from the De Wolfe catalogue...

i was able to complete my personal Conroy collection last week, but i was too lazy to post pictures yet.

@milliondollars, I'm no expert either but I would have thought it would be more like 20% original material 80% recycled ost. Curious How that whole thing worked, did they include ost outtakes on the libraries?

I imagine there are some great hidden gems on the Conroy label, I only have a few 10"s on the label, including this one which has some great weird tracks from teperino and swann aka Roger Roger and Nino nardini.

unimaginable that this record cost like 40 Euros about 10 years ago.

for me still the best Macchi and one that begs for a reissue...

Ha! I'd love to have this one, I won't lie, and I'd probably spend way too much too. But I'm not that rich! I have a nice vinyl rip of the audio though so I can still listen to it :) But yeah these can be pricey, I just finally caved on a nice original of Tra Scienza because I was never happy with the WRWTFWW version and the price was pretty reasonable (but still expensive for a record!). I'd love to see Cinedelic do the Fauna Marina and do a really nice replica copy with a tip-on jacket. Schema reissue would be good too.. at least a faithful replica, I wouldn't want someone to change the cover or put their logo all over the cover and label.

The three new four flies comps landed today. They're all really good! Across the three there are about 24 tracks previously unreleased on any format. Recommended
