You're very welcome!! Spread the disco lovin' bro.

Played the whole of Evolution at my friend's birthday disco on Friday, went down pretty well....then I dropped Never Ending Story/What a Feeling back to back and she and her lady posse freaked on the dance floor. So y'know....keep it nostalgic Hi-NRG 80s/soundtrack-ey was the lesson of the day.

That sounds like a blast.

I've been making my way through the three Tangerine Dream soundtracks I picked up last week. I really enjoy Thief, Firestarter has some great moments on it but by the time I put on Sorcerer my wife and cat were sick of it in about 5 minutes. As Sorcerer is all about tension, the soundtrack is a little much for those that are not expecting it.

And I still can't get over how good the Return of Swamp Thing OST is. That's been playing way more than I had expected.

Swamp Thing release is indeed swampy goodness. Re-upping my Terror Vision subscription proved to be a wise decision. I had my reservations about the glow in the dark vinyl. You can certainly hear a little background noise, but it's a vast improvement over the GITD vinyl I've heard in the past. The glow effect is very bright, so that's fun.

I gave this Hero of Time release another spin this morning. The orchestrated Zelda score is really a beautiful thing, and the label did a fine job with the trimmings. I snagged it during that ThinkGeek sale a few weeks back.

Schamlos! I need to watch this movie. It sounds crazy, and the clips online seem to confirm that. The Gerhard Heinz music is tops, very cool stuff. This pink vinyl was an edition of 100 from a couple years ago and came with a 16-page book with pictures, shots from the movie and thorough liner notes which are also translated to English. There's a track at the end of side A that reminds me of Locust Abortion Technician in a way... Belching, sniffing and dog barking into an echo delay, I think they are grotesque sounds for an orgy scene described as intentionally revolting.
