It is a beautiful record. And I love the artwork. I bought a print of the labels.

Freshly received from the mail today. This is excellent, it's probably going to be one of my favorite Umiliani release to pull out of the shelves. Four Flies have a good track records for compilations. The "Esterno..." releases are great, I'll have to pick up their next ones.

Edit : My copy has the second disc has the "C Side" labels on both sides of the disc.

@Evan: love those turntable pics!
Bez - The feeling is mutual...love seeing those Beogram turntables!
I give them a search every once in awhile and think maybe down the road :)

I should watch this movie again soon. I liked it when I saw it in the theater. I tend to agree with Ridley Scott that it's a good idea to continue to explore the AI concepts, to do something a bit different with the Franchise.

Awesome find @milliondollars love that 80s new age/ambient synth vibe.

Waiting for that discogs list of soundtracks with people in scuba gear on the cover!

So happy to finally have this stone-cold 70s funk score classic by Dave Grusin. The re-issue by Movies on Vinyl is predictably top notch, highly rec'd on all fronts if you don't have this. So damn good!!

Real good Chris. Great news for those of us that have never managed to score an OG.
That's good enough for me. Time to find a copy.

Thread is on fire. Hope to catch up some day soon for a session.

@Evan - I will have to check out The Yakuza. Also, that Waxwork DotD art does have a vintage 70's vibe, but it's surprising how small that Goblin credit is on the bottom right. Might try to find a copy if it hits retail.

@ScoJo - Nice grab, Condor!

@Evan @deaf - The Yakuza is a killer score. Love the film too.

I really just wish there was a label like LaLaLand or Intrada who were vinyl-releasing nothing but golden age 70s American thriller scores....David Shire, Dave Grusin, Michael Small, Billy Goldenberg, Bill Conti...so much great stuff. My jams, yo.
