I had a feeling Best Seller would make your list.
Best Seller is so badass. It had actually slipped my mind that LC scripted that, thanks!

Deadly Illusion currently topping my watch list, cheers @static :) I recall the VHS sleeve with BD Williams, though never actually rented it. For shame.

For me, yes, but by all means, make your case. I'm all eyes.
I always found the idea of Maniac Cop to be more impressive than it's actual execution. The first film is fine but the few times I've watched it I felt let down by the premise. Lustig did an alright job directing and I can't really fault it for being mediocre. Maniac Cop 2 on the other hand I find insanely entertaining, I revisit at least once a year, the performances are much better, and for me the most important part is the action. The set pieces are insane and the stunts down right dangerous. Seriously I have no idea how Lustig convinced people to do what they captured on film. The fire scenes are unsafe and crazy. I honestly was just giving you crap because you are the first person I've seen say that MC1 is better than MC2. I can't fault any one for like MC, it's a good movie and at least it's way better than part 3!

Latest sweet slice of Trunk 70s Britsploitation/nostalgia...

Have wanted a full release of this archive Kirchin score ever since Trunk teased us with the opening theme as the starter on the Fuzzy Felt Folk LP over 10 years ago. And the A-side doesn't disappoint- off kilter jazz-pop cues for a very weird 'macabre coming-of-age thriller' from 1970, featuring a teenage Jenny Agutter. But the B-side is a different kettle of fish altogether, an unreleased score for an 80s documentary called Third World, which isn't initially to my taste tbh- quite midi-sounding and minimalist/rhythmic, straying fully into Enigma territory by the end (I know some people love Enigma so there ya go...) This one will definitely need time to grow on me.

First time I've heard this outside of the film. Quite amazing (both the score and that statement).
