Had this a while and not played it. Enjoyable stuff! I think it the deluxe treatment on datadiscs but this was included with the original game on the megadrive.

Edit - before megadrive! Must have been Commodore 64 or something.

'87 Sega black shell release?! Getouttahere, I would have BLASTED Magical Sound Shower on my paper route if I could have found this tape. I rarely touched a C64 back then, but I had the DOS port on lock. The Tandy-1000 even had the 3-voice sound chip...

That tape would've been a life changer.

Took a punt on this one. Not my area of expertise at all, I can cope with Blue Train. It’s got a version of Mack the Knife which is a melody I really love for some reason.

wow! there are other similar releases I think...
From https://vgmdb.net/album/14153 :
Bonus tape that came with the U.S. Gold published game for Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Amiga and Atari ST.
The music is presented as a single track with each tune crossfading. Each of the tunes are merely 30 second-long loops playing for 2 minutes each with sound effects.
Doing a search for tape only you get stuff like this:

ImageThe post has arrived...

ImageI really hooe, as ice said before, that we get more from VCO this year. I'm uncertain if Steve Moore is still involved, but I'm excited to here AJ's new tapes and whatever they come up with in future.

Whoa, I didn't realize Avanti had a tape release.

PS - Nice work on the Three Movies box, Spun. That gets a lot of play 'round here.

Haha...this takes me back. But not to the game (I never played it), to an album sleeve I once did for a friend. The lp was inspired by/named after the title tune from OutRun, I recall him being worried that there might be an issue using the name but no Japanese heavies ever turned up at the door. Here's the front cover art I did - possibly the loopiest design job I've ever delivered!

Bonus points for all the mallards.
It really is, huh? Makes me wonder sometimes.....not all there, y'know?

And yep, seem to recall the artist was on a bit of a mad one about 'ducks'. Don't remember fighting it too hard.
