Yeah, I have the Thief of Hearts LP. I always wished it had more of the instrumental tracks, whether they were Faltermeyer or Moroder... hopefully the new bonus tracks on the CD are some of that material.

@Bez - Thanks for thinking of me!
@McQueen - I couldn't agree more about their Voltronesque team-up.
@ScoJ - You'll never regret it.

Love seeing HF get some love up in here. I have the LP and I pre-ordered the CD as well. Unfortunately this reissue received very little fanfare, Faltermeyer himself didn't even know it was happening, and many were hoping this would be an expansion or just the full HF score, but it was not to be. Supposedly La La Land has an expanded edition of Top Gun in the offing and there have even been rumors of the Fletch score finally coming out, but I won't hold my breath on the latter.

Dudes, my Il Grande Silenzio arrived today. While it is not a handsome colored vinyl, it sounds good. And fuck, what a great score.

I sat down and listened to my copy of Il Grande Silenzio last night, no issues with SQ. It's a fantastic release and one of the few scores that my wife actually asked me what it was and said she really liked it. The last record she did that with was The Fountain score.

Why not press on white vinyl? Duh!

This is a new release from a label that I like a lot: Infraction Records. They mainly release ambient music on CD and vinyl. As far as I can tell, this is their first cassette release. It's couched as a relaxation tape for Soviet cosmonauts from a long time ago. You can hear two of the tracks from the bandcamp site, linked above. Limited edition of 100, comes out in mid-January.
I bought this after lying in bed and listening to the sample tracks at 0330 a few days back. It's seriously good. Can't wait to pop this in the Walkman. Thanks for the heads up, Reddye. Much appreciated.

The Exterminator is selling very quickly.. so if you would like a copy, now is the time to place a order. If sales continue as they are, it will be sold out by the middle of next week!

We now only press 250 or less of each record... so that means we no longer offer any of our new titles for sale via distribution. If we have stock left over, then we we will be happy to to sell those remaining copies to other outlets.
------
Someone asked about the existing records from 2017, and they commented:

They are being made right now. Per our post Dec 5th. All pending releases are due to ship by the end of Jan. TCM will be first, followed by Galaxy of Terror, All Things Converge, Night of the Comet. and the Stuff. Cheers

I noticed that they didn't say anything about The Southern Tenant "The Horror of the Right" release, and I asked if it was going to be included in the above release schedule. Their reply:

Yes it is. We only pressed 50 of those due to low sales and lack of interest.

AE Paterra (1/2 of Zombi) has two new cassette releases on VCO Recordings. One is under his Majeure moniker and the other is a soundtrack under his name.

Just grabbed these. It's really great to see VCO back after a two or three year hiatus. Both albums are Sounding killer and the cases look great.

The back catalogue is well worth checking out too although all are currently sold out in physical format.

Thanks for this! Both those releases are great, I wish the AE Paterra tape was a little longer though, it flies by so fast and I want more. I've never heard of this record label. I have some listening to do.

Don't neglect the Now Playing On Cassette thread in the Tapes forum. We put shine on all kinds of great labels over there.
