it certainly would be nice if this saw a vinyl release.

I didn't even realize what day it was when I started today with JG, but after posting on here and seeing what was what I couldn't stop.

Legend and 13th warrior might be getting some love later tonight

Jason X - Harry Manfredini
Varèse Sarabande ‎– 302 066 355 2

This was always a fun score to me. Being the tenth film in the Friday/Jason series one can only imagine if/when Waxworks will get to it.

Legends Of The Fall - James Horner
Epic Soundtrax ‎– EK 66462, Sony Classical ‎– EK 66462
Here's hoping that since Decca is releasing Braveheart (Aug 4th), this is somewhere in the works.

Digital rip in the headphones (Thank you, @Dollar) and now feeling the burning yearning. Yokoyama-san has such a classical touch on the keys and strings on this one. On a blind listen, I could almost envision this as some incredible Fidenco/Nicolai collaboration from the late 70's. Also, I love that he also uses wordless female vocals similar to Edda Dell'Orso... I'm over the moon on this one, and will be chasing it like a vampire hunter after the sunset.

There's one for a paltry $800 on The 'Cogs.

Been a while since I've given this a listen, but for years it was my go-to writing music. The track escapes me at the moment but it's from when Nicholas rea and company kidnap Louis and Claudia and whatserface...anyway there's this SUDDEN really intense horn line that comes out of nowhere and I always forgot about it, which almost universally resulted in me jumping out of my skin in the middle of the night when writing. This and his score to "in dreams" are personal favorites for sure.

It's a must-buy. One of the best of the last few years. I heard it before I saw the film and liked it, but after seeing the film, they lifted each other up to a different level.
