Death Waltz glow-in-the-dark slip mats!

I like the look of my Death Waltz ones, but I noticed that when stopping my 1200, the record will slide around on it (as it's smoother than most slipmats). I've been using the Technics mat that came with my 1200 and that seems to grip the record better so it stops faster and doesn't slide around.

I do really like the look of the Death Waltz slip mats but I fear I'd look like a mega fan boy while flipping my DW record, on a DW slipmat while wearing my DW T-shirt

There aren't that many cool looking slip/turntable mats out there. Anyone got any handy links?

Also, any have thoughts on Cork, rubber, acrylic or those pricey copper mats?
