I saw the film's screening in Seattle last night - it's a corker! The music dominates, really tasty pre-grunge, heavy, percussive, industrial... epic. They had copies of the vinyl (w/DVD included) for sale at the theater, but I'd pre-ordered my copy so will have to wait 10 days or so.

This artwork it's really cool with a modern touch but it's quite different from the original vibe of the movie...anyway, my copy it's on the way and I really can't wait to spin it, I like very much Boswell's work!

Low turnout. Disappointing, really. About 30 people at OTB, most of whom seemed to be connected to the film in some way. (sat next to Amy Denio who plays bass on the soundtrack/in the film!)

@Seb do you know if the orders placed with candyman have shipped yet? I'm sure I read the 5th but usually recieve a shipping notice and I've not heard anything. Cheers

I caved as well. Thanks for bringing this act to the attention of the board - these 'imagined soundtracks' can often be as musically satisfying as the real thing... when done well.
