I'm passing on this one. I'll be renewing OWS without hesitation though. Not sure I have enough for DW, I'll just have to see what partnering with Mondo will do. As of now, I can get them cheaper locally. Unfortunately, money is something I need to worry about now. ::sniffle:: and I'll be cutting back on my mondo and WW purchases too (the horror!) I'll jump back on the DW wagon when I can though. Spencer is ace in my book.

The end of one era...gives rise to another one. With the latest DW sub news, I'm gonna opt in for a WW sub (even though delivery to the UK/Europe is gonna hurt).

Maybe @Waxwork could take a leaf out of OWS' book and offer a cheaper route for fans overseas... I'm thinking of what Seb said in the other thread about offering subs through LITA for those in the USA to save spending a fortune in shipping.

Be nice if it worked the other way too?

As it is, as a UK resident who isn't bothered about extra badges and ephemera and just wants the vinyl, I can't really justify it. Not when there is a lot of other good stuff appearing elsewhere too. But fair play to Waxwork for offering one at all.

I think I'll skip the sub and hack it out with the masses (the dread) because after much thought, there's only a couple listed I want and I don't need the extra crap. Now that their server issue is resolved, I'm hoping their ordering process will be smoother. I'm used to not getting a subber exclusive color because I got black with DW and OWS doesn't have a subber exclusive color. So, I'm cool with my game plan.

Ditto. Hopefully it will be '3rd drop lucky' in terms of Waxwork website woes, they have asked Santa for a new 'back end' for Christmas, and overseas orders won't be accidentally blocked.

I emailed Waxwork a few times to see if they could tell me how many subs there would be, as I am strapped for cash at the moment...never heard back, surprise...although I'm not sure what knowing the number would have accomplished.
I got the funds together as quickly as possible and today was the day.
Went to buy it today and *poof* gone.
Bummed.

What up Nick!!, yeah they will be doing a black edition. This is a first for WW, never seen a single black edition of any pressing from WW, be very cool if they released a sub for just black vinyl like DW did. I will be buying the black copies and leaving my WW sub copies sealed.

The main reason I bought my WW sub was for Jonathan Snipes "Starry Eyes" known for "Room 237" & "Phase IV", those are my main 2 but Chud, a special vinyl, can't think of the other,but this will be a great year for WW, i can't wait for the Hayden project to hit vinyl from you guys. The only non ost you guys will be releasing when it drops. Looking very forward to this one!!

By the way, you can buy Starry Eyes feom itunes, it's an amazing movie with an incredible score. The score to Starry Eyes like the score to Maniac (2013) fits! It just does, it was meant to be.

I must say iam a little bit disapointed ; no greeting mails and quite no update of what's goin on...i subbed with the expectation of the OWS or DWR top notch services and care, so i really expected something more, more personal, more interaction...
well iam still glad i could jump aboard, but i hope thing will begin to shape, hope that's help

It was just the holiday season, Waxworks just moved offices and it's the first subscription....I think people could give Kevin a little latitude before being disappointed about not receiving a hand written letter from him plotting out the exact minute that every album will arrive in their hands. I'm not trying to kiss his ass but have some patience people.....Waxworks releases have all been quality up to this point.
