Hahaha, oh man let me look back at the last month and ahead...Arrow, shout, kino, and Warner archive have had some gems this year, picked up or preordered in the last few months......Into the night, matinee, children of the corn, caltiki, House 1 & 2 (here’s that synchronous licensing again) the hidden, innocent blood, the illustrated man, superman the movie TV. edit, misery, death rides a horse, the mercenary, and the old dark house.

Plus criterion should be dropping some news of their NOTLD remaster disc.

It’s not that I need a second bedroom....it’s that I need gallery space and a library.

I totally hear you, I can't drop that kinda money for that set. I'm waiting for the remainders from MondoCon/Suspiria screenings to get that released.

I also can't justify that NOES set personally. Way too out of my price range, looks awesome though so far.

They flattened his chest and abdomen into a perfectly straight line and stripped it of all it's natural contours. Even though he's incredibly fit, especially for a septuagenarian, his body isn't a laughable cartoon of itself so it had to be done. You understand.

Yeah, I think somebody in marketing just thought the word "Audiophile" sounded cool and to hell with verifiable advertisement. I thought the music was powerful and engaging, so I couldn't imagine that they were trying to blow smoke and hope you would notice the fancy adjectives instead.

In case you guys missed it, there's a new version of The Thing coming on vinyl. And at last it has the actual JC and Howarth tracks, unlike all the previous vinyl versions, including the recent (and kinda botched) one on WW.

Not sure exactly which label is doing this, but it's the same as the previous 2011 CD reissue, which is pretty awesome.

I have an OG copy of the OST, so skipped on the WW version. But personally pretty stoked for this new pressing, despite the pretty blah cover art.
